Even with Gamepass, I have still purchased games outright on Steam due to how shit the app is.The best version will be on PC via the Xbox app.

Its probably simply because of fiscal quarter targets and the port not being planned from the get go so it is not ready. Microsoft wants the revenue for the game the moment it is ready to hit internal metrics and they will drop the PS5 version the moment it is ready.

There are 150 developers at Turn 10 working on Forza Motorsport and helping with Forza Horizon 6 (and they helped with previous Forza Horizon games).
Only have till December for GT7 Spec III, dunno why you'd have to wait till April.If you want to play the best current racing franchise at launch, you know where to get it, otherwise wait till April '27.
And there's a good chance you'll play it better than on PS6, and a good chance you'll play PS games on that same Xbox.

Tbh it was probably well into development when they got burdened with a PS5/Pro port. I'll play the PS6 version a year later with the DLC.

That number you are citing is not even close to accurate. For example, one google search shows that Forza as a franchise sold 16m copies as of April 2021 (before FH5 and FM8) BUT since then Forza Horizon 5 alone sold 7m on Steam and 3m on PS5 and Microsoft doesn't report the sales data of their xbox games anymore because they roll them into gamepass user sales and MAU. So what you are claiming is just straight up not factually correct.
