The moving of a specific amount of items was driving me crazy because it wasn't working...well I just wasn't doing it right:
Select the item first with the "a" button then press "x" to move half the stack
Obviously it would be nice if you could actually Select the number instead of having to do half a stack at a time

Thanks, that's what it'll be.
Also I see the YouTube streams are already promoting the best loot positions and then people will start complaining about reaching the endgame to quickly.
FFS just slow down and enjoy your time. Find the loot using your own inquisitively.

Finally had one of those moment that make the game worth.
Me and my friend were playing a duo squad and we we at the extraction with like 10 other people and we were all friendly (strangely enough since it wasn't a solo run) and while we were waiting for the elevator someone decided to shoot the leaper in the distance, this thing does a giant jump and get where we are, with a combined effort of shitty weapons we managed to kill it and then 2 drones with missiles showed up and it was chaos, only 6 dudes managed to extract.
Do the leapers just jump? if they don't have ranged weapons they are way easier than the missile drones.

Solo and 2 stacks are awesome. Everytime I went into a 3 stack with my friends is where I keep getting my shit pushed in. Games full of try hards and tea baggers. I am one of those non tryhards dads talked about above. I just want to PvE. Hope they make a less loot safe space for me someday

I'm warming up to the map after some more raids last night. The first four times I was on that map I was on the S/SW section and that area is still kinda lame. The village and underground areas are cool. Lots of complex areas I get lost in lol.

I do hope they add some bigger indoor enemies. Something that could roam the halls of a high loot area and can also open doors.
Some big black spider robot that lurks in the corners and can paralyse you. Something very hard to kill and to avoid.
I also wouldn't mind if there's a slim chance that when you loot a drawer or locker one of those ticks jumps out. Not to damage you, but as a little jumpscare.

I'm two levels from fully expanding my stash and it's almost always full too. You have to determine what stuff you want to keep and generally sell or dismantle stuff you can make or find easily again.

Im always try to upgrade it when i have cash, then keeping the stacks down when it comes to items thats needed: Chemicals, Fabrics, Metal parts, Plastics, Rubber etc. And then trying to figure out what blue items and such to keep for quests/upgrades

Yep and im mad that i dont have time to play BF, because of this game... But will get back eventually and these 2 are gonna be my main multiplayer games on rotation for a long time, until marathon comes out. That will take the 3rd spot and im all set for years when it comes to multiplayer games lol
I just hope their content update cycles wont overlap too much

Haha, I was going to mention Marathon but didn't want to get killed for saying it. All these games offer something very different. Exciting to finally have actual good gaas games that are not BR. It has been so terrible this generation thus far

What a cracker of a couple of weeks this has been in gaming. That other game has shot to the top of my most wanted after the test.
This is just as good in a different way.
I did something like that in the last test alone. Completely grabbed me by the balls. Then straight into this. Happy days.

And I agree: a temporary quick fix could be to simply remove the player model as well. Of course that could have some hilarious consequences too, but at least it could be a better solution for the time being.

I was having a great time for about 3 or 4 hours until I got killed and lost all the shit I upgraded. I don't know if I have the patience but admire what they are doing. Luckily I just got it for free.

That's the Investment + Risk = Tension mechanics, it makes "every step matter". So it needs to be there. But if it's not balanced right, there will be problems...
The devs have clearly thought about this balance. I mean, losing gear can be frustrating, so having the option to play with a free loadout offers a pretty good way to unwind and offset the annoyance.

I've lost blue and pink gear. I'm not crying about it.
The game is generous with free loadout to get back into things, and once you finish up quests, level, and amass wealth you can continually feed green and blue loadouts.
Tarkov I have two bad runs back to back at the start of a wipe and it's like "well I guess I'll try again next season."
