That's what everyone is asking them to do over social media, but they're oddly stubborn about it.

Plenty of smaller profile games have done that just this year, Luto, Dead Reset, Night Dive's multiple remasters etc.

Releasing physical a bit later might even end up getting them more money. Folks who want to play early get it digitally, then they buy it physically for the collector's shit.

That's pretty unfortunate, middle of December is pretty late to be getting the game as a Christmas present.

At least they're not treating retail customers worse or preying on people who collect physical versions to get both.
