I did love 6 though -- 6 is probably my second favorite.

Also Kiryu as a taxi driver and Saejima hunting bears up in the mountains were cool stuff.
For me the worst ones are either 3 or 4, with the later being the least memorable one for me.

I really really enjoyed Kiryu / Saejima in 5 -- so I'm with you there. And honestly, even 5 being the 'worst' in my opinion, it's still a good game worth playing.

Not yet -- I have them. A few years ago I started with 0 and committed to doing them all, so I'm up to Infinite Wealth now -- will do the Judgement after Pirate Yakuza. I've heard they're really really good so I'm looking forward to em.

Max Payne: best is 1, worst is 2 (I really didn't care about the Inner Circle, and the gameplay went from tense shootouts to bullet-time spam)

DOOM: best is 1, worst is 3 (not bad but not a real DOOM game imo)

Quake: best is 1, worst is 4 (that first half is just too boring, even if it gets better later on)

Dark Souls: best is 1, worst is 2 (world design is ass, and that was one of my favorite aspects of 1)

I hated Haruka more than you and I made it through by skipping shit, doing nothing while looking in the opposite direction, and turning off sound. While you were busy with baseball, I was busy exploring the Red Light District and becoming a weapon master. This game has Segata Sanshiro levels of epicness.

P.S. Worst is Dead Souls. I hope it gets remade because the premise and scenarios are great. Gameplay is unfortunately the weakest part.

I know they suck now but the Madden games used to be amazing. Madden 2005 added the hit stick and it was absolute peak 3d football. Some people will try to tell you that 2k5 was better but they have no idea what they're talking about.

The very next year EA released Madden 06 with Donovan McNabb on the cover and to this day, he's the only cover athlete to curse the franchise. It used to be the other way around. They added some bullshit passing cone to the game which pretty much made it unplayable.

Nah, the level cap quests were like working a job. Grinding was terrible too up to that.

Still have bad memories about it and I wanted to love that game as the art style rocked and everything but the actual gameplay was good.

I didn't think twice hopping off of it for WoW back in the day.

Might have been changed/different later on , but back when it first released it was the worst gaming experience of my life. Frustrating and time consuming.
