This team comp with Pelica as the main DPS looks fun. I might build a second team around her and Endmin once I've got everything set up with my main one.
So. We need to talk about this, not about Trekinspace's case, but more so about the system and how it works. But before that I want to say that I got lucky and got basically all standard banner characters + featured character and her sig (as well as Last Rite's sig) early. After around 40 pulls i got Laevatain and I'm happy i got her early. I did another 10 pulls after that and i got Ember as well so now i just need to get Laevatain's weapon.
I mostly care about having as many different 6* as possible, so I feel like the system favors me somewhat, what with the 64% chance of getting a limited 6* each 50/50. For now I'll focus on investing horizontally and getting whatever weps come my way.So. We need to talk about this, not about Trekinspace's case, but more so about the system and how it works. But before that I want to say that I got lucky and got basically all standard banner characters + featured character and her sig (as well as Last Rite's sig) early.
But after watching some videos and seeing how bad the ratings are for the game, I can see why. So basically, the gacha system is very badly and intentionally designed in a way to punish you for winning 50/50. Why, you may ask, cuz in WuWa and ZZZ it's a blessing? Well, it's so that you can't get additional 2000K Arsenal Tickets early to get 20 weapon pull total, so if you lose 50/50 and get a standard 6 star, you'll get 10 pulls for wapon banner, then you can pull on a featured banner and get another 10 weapon pull relatively quickly. See where I'm getting at? Moreover, weapon banners have 7(!!!!) 6 start weapons and 1 featured, so depending on your luck, you can get the same weapong out of 7 five times (!!!), five times, the same weapon out of 7 and even with multiple 6 stars in the same 10 pull! Think about it! And it happened to me cuz I got the same fuckin' spear 5 times I could't give less of a shit about cuz it's not good for anyone in the game and I still don't have Ember's sig cuz of this shit.
So the gacha is designed in a way to not give you more Arsenal Tickets cuz you can win 50/50, counter will reset and you have to pull 80 times again instead of 20 or 30, depending when you trigger 50/50. Why in the world would you design a sustem like this which is way worse than in any miHoYo game or in WuWa with it's 100% weapon banners? And remember, you can only get enough Arsenal Tickets for 10 pulls after getting 6 star character and you get 20 pulls for losing 50/50 which in the case of Endfield you really, REALLY want to happen cuz then you'll get 20 weapon pulls instead of 10! Now compare this with ZZZ, HSR or WuWa. This gacha system is fucked beyond belief and it can be even worse depending on your luck. Eh, like, sure, weapon banners for standard characters are permanent, but the thing is, they're separate, so you literally can't get them via featured banner pulls, so essentially we have 5 different weapon banners to pull on 8 times which is 400 pulls in total.
Again, I sort of got lucky with weapon banners and got all 6 stars currently available in the game except the next 2 featured characters, but that's me, other people have way, WAY worse experience based on what I've seen and based on the game's ratings. Like, you can argue that well, luck is luck and it's always the same for gacha games, meaning that luck is involved, you can get fucked or you don't, it's unpredictable the first time you start playing, but making people feel bad and punish them for winning 50/50 on a featured banner (so that they need to pull at least 65 times more again cuz of 120 pulls reset) and bombard them for dupes of the same standard 6 star weapon (out of 7) 5 times is something else, ma dudes. Given how much of an issue this system is, I don't think they can just do nothing about it and alter it in some way to make it more fair, like, add 10 weapon pulls to the BP or something to compensate for potential 50/50 win... damn, just saying this goes to show how ridiculous the situation is, cuz in no way you should be upset after winning 50/50, but you will cuz after this you just lost 10 weapon pulls. And more to the point, we can't do shit with dozens of character pulls which are piling up in our inventory and we're getting the same 20 Arsenal Tickets even if we maxed out characters so it's even more ridiculous cuz in all other gacha games we're getting way more after maxing out mindscapes, fortifications or resonance chains but here it's always 20 even if you've got dozens of dupes after maxing characters. Why is that?
Anyway, thoughts, please, everyone, if you care to share any.
After around 40 pulls i got Laevatain and I'm happy i got her early. I did another 10 pulls after that and i got Ember as well so now i just need to get Laevatain's weapon.
So far the game has been really good though i still find the whole factory thing a bit hard to get my head around as I'm not used to that type of gameplay but I'm sure eventually i will get to know it better in time.

That's what I'm talking about. Losing 50/50 in Endfield is what you need everytime, cuz you'll get two 6 stars even if one of 'em is dupe of the one you already have cuz it'll give you 20 weapon pulls instead of just 10. Good luck with getting everyone from the standard banner and their sigs! I just finally got Ember's sig and she's now in proper Chisa mode:I mostly care about having as many different 6* as possible, so I feel like the system favors me somewhat, what with the 64% chance of getting a limited 6* each 50/50. For now I'll focus on investing horizontally and getting whatever weps come my way.
Same here!Added both of you.
You need to pull at least 65 times first, then all the way to 80 if you're extremely unlucky, if you lost 50/50 to any 6 star other than the featured one, you need to pull at worst 120 times in total to get the featured character. Then counter restets to 80 again - it happened to me after I pulled featured character early and lost extra 10 weapon pulls. Now I'm at 100% after pulling Last Right, which carries over to the next featured banner. So, let's say you're in my place, so what you want to do now is to stop pulling and wait for the next featured character you want to get higher chance of getting it or a very small chance to get a character which is not yet released and will be released in one of the next two banners. How many 6* can one reasonably assume they would get during the initial pulls window? I've pulled 5 times and haven't gotten any, lol.
Too early to say anything definitive, but so far I prefer Endfield's gacha system over HSR and Genshin by a pretty good margin, weapon banner included. Once the honeymoon phase ends and we get a clearer picture of the income per patch + BP + Monthly Sub, maybe I'll change my tune, but for now I've been more than happy.Anyway, thoughts, please, everyone, if you care to share any.
Yeah, like, you're getting boosts to stats and stuff, but I'm very glad that it's nothing like in WuWa or ZZZ where almost entire character kits and anti-interruptions are locked behind dupes. Plus, there's a chance you can get a few dupes of limited characters during the next two banners so you might get 1 or two like that, but we'll have to wait and see how it works for reruns and how reruns will be working in the game for that matter too.Dupes in Endfield are currently low value compared to HSR or even WuWa, so there's really no incentive to pull once you've secured a copy. Maybe that'll change in a year or two, but until then I'm focusing on horizontal investment and aiming for one limited character (two if I'm lucky) and one limited weapon per patch.

It can take a very long time untill you see those coins as F2P. You get 10 coins once you get a dupe of an already maxed out 6* character. Im guessing after a year or 2 of playing the game most of the permanent 6* chars will be maxed out, so only by then most players will start seeing those coins appear more often.Btw, are you at a point already where you can access the end game? I can only assume at this point that the Endpoint Quota Excange store where you can directly buy standard 6* weapons is related to end game - 20 coins for one weapon. Do you know how much coins end game provides if this store is related to it? I kinda don't want to waste my weapon pulls on standard 6* weapons after getting Ember's sig and then won't have enough to go for limited sigs.
Haven't gotten to the point where you unlock the end‑game modes yet. Well, I did unlock some things, which I won't spoil, but none of it is tied to the shop coin currency you mentioned. Anyways, it looks like your question has already been answered by Aenima, but in general, I'm not too worried about weapons, since the BP ones are very good options in case you don't have enough pull currency to also get the standard 6* from the shop.Yeah, like, you're getting boosts to stats and stuff, but I'm very glad that it's nothing like in WuWa or ZZZ where almost entire character kits and anti-interruptions are locked behind dupes. - There are many parts of Endfield that make you think it was made by a game-obsessed pervert. The way the characters are presented is so satisfying. In events, they run instead of walking slowly, and turning around on the screen is a nice touch. It has everything you'd want from the player's perspective.
- I'm so impressed that the Dragon's Dogma-like elements are so strong.
- I'm glad to see that feature, which Dogma 2 tried to implement but couldn't get working properly, is actually functioning correctly.
- As expected of Chen-chan. Not just cute, but incredibly talented and cute.
- They do it with treasure chests too, but it feels like you're exploring together, which is really cool. It's nice to feel the charm of working together as a group of four.
- This is so great. This game is really well-crafted, making you feel like your friends are there and that you're traveling together when exploring the map.
- The AI of your teammates reminds me of dragons dogma in how they tell you when they find something (or just talk randomly)
- This feature is not only cute, but it also reacts to normal treasure chests and the invisible Orilen, which is easy to miss, so it's not to be underestimated.
- This feature helped me many times during my exploration.
- Wow, so this is what the emoticon mark was that occasionally appeared. I just ignored it lol
- It's easy to forget when comparing it to other games, but there are certain expressions that are made possible by having all party members always visible.
Really? whats the numbers like? im quite enjoying it for my first of these kind of games, just very easy to play.Man, this game flopped harder than ZZZ.

What is definition of flop here?
Arknights Endfield's main markets are CN and JP, and it's doing well in both, so I wouldn't worry too much. It's currently ranked #1 on the best‑selling list on PSN Japan.Really? whats the numbers like? im quite enjoying it for my first of these kind of games, just very easy to play.
Oh, so this shop is not for 5* dupes exchange and the only way to get these weapons using coins is through 6* dupes? Effin' lol. I just got Lycaon's M6 in ZZZ after almost 2 years since the game was released. And toIt can take a very long time untill you see those coins as F2P. Yeah, I'll add that my experience with pulling weapons in big gachas outside of WuWa where it's guaranteed and you know exactly what to expect has ranged from decent to baaaaaad. And when it's bad, it's really bad, lol. In Endfield, if you're lucky to get two limited units in a patch like I did, you definitely won't have enough pull currency to grab two sigs. You're probably getting just one, and that's it. And if you're unlucky like me on the weapon banner and have to hit hard pity for Laevatain's sig, that means you've dumped ~120 or more pulls across both standard and limited character banners in a single patch, plus whatever scraps you can get from elastic market, weekly rewards, and upcoming events. That's why I appreciate that BP weapons are only slightly weaker than sigs, which is how BP weapons should be IMO. I just hope they expand the selection eventually, because having only 3 options/choices is pretty limiting.Oh, so this shop is not for 5* dupes exchange and the only way to get these weapons using coins is through 6* dupes? And toThick Thighs Save Lives point, some BP weapons are like 4% worse than sigs, so if you have one - that's it, which is also fine by me if % difference is going to be that low.
Similar experience here. I got Laevatain in 40 pulls, which is lucky, but that means few resorces for the weapon banner. I already spent all my resorces on the weapon banner and only managed to do 50 pulls and still didnt got her sig weapon, so need to do more 30 pulls for garanteed but im not doing any more pulls on characters untill Yvonne banner, so untill then im cucked for being lucky on the character banner, and have to depend on any normal tickets i get untill Yvonne banner where i will do some more pulls. So most likelly, im only getting Laevatain sig weapon once Yvonne banner drops, and better forget in trying to pull for Yvonne sig weapon. In Endfield, if you're lucky to get two limited units in a patch like I did, you definitely won't have enough pull currency to grab two sigs. Aside from Yvonne of course. Yvonne was great.Man, Wuling area is a big step up so far. I was beginning to think we're just not going to have any fun dialogue or character moments at all. The Character Design has been top notch of course but there wasn't a single person who said or did anything interesting.

Totally agree. I'm only about 2-3 hours into Wuling since I got sidetracked with factory stuff, but I'm really impressed by all the characters that appeared so far, including the villains. Also, the quality of the in‑game cutscenes (not pre‑rendered) feels like a step above what we saw in the first region. Good stuff from Hypergryph.Aside from Yvonne of course. Yvonne was great.

It's all good ma man.Agent_4Seven Man, this might sound a bit rude since it's backseat gaming on my part, but why haven't you unlocked the social features and its associated systems yet (e.g. visiting friends, elastic goods, production assists, credits, etc.)? I tried to visit you and the function is still locked. You're seriously kneecapping your progression in Endfield by not having access to these features, especially considering you've already put a decent amount of hours into the game…
TheTurboFD Just sent you a friend invite.
Here's the official PV with highlights from the offline launch event Hypergryph held in Tokyo on Sunday.
I don't like anything story and quests-wise I've seen so far (except a few hours of prologue before gigantic walls of tutorials), but much more on that later.Man. Almost makes me think they made quests in the first chapter intentionally muted so people would instead focus on the factory component. Writing and presentation during the second chapter missions almost make the game feel like something else entirely. Just on another level.

That's understandable. If you've got limited time to play during the week, I'd still recommend setting aside 30 minutes at most, as it really doesn't take longer than that to unlock elastic goods/market and OMV Dijiang (IIRC the quest is marked as important), since these are meant to be done very early in the game, even before hitting AL 20. Once you've unlocked them, you can start earning a solid amount of Valley Stock Bills to spend on goods, etc. But if you don't feel like rushing it, that's totally fine too. It's all good ma man.

I've so much to say about the game beyond what I said before and I'll be using the second survey real hard to let them know as well as post here too, when I'll have the time. I'm Lvl 35 or 36 iirc, haven't unlocked a bunch of shit as you mentioned and it's all cuz I don't have much time to play the game during 5/2 working week. Like, I probably have around 2 (3 at max) hrs to play the game and have to wait for the weekend, do all the shit in GFL2, ZZZ and WuWa (dailies mostly + I haven't even touched the story part of the second 3.0 phase in WuWa) just so that I can play Endfield the whole weekend in 2 days. Like, dude, I haven't even unlocked and been on Dijiang yet where a bunch of stuff unlocks related to characters, their bonds to unlock additional skills etc.
Hmm, I haven't really looked up any guides aside from checking a few builds for my current team. For factory stuff, I ran several sim tutorials to learn the basics and get the starting blueprints, then just experimented to see what works and what doesn't. For example, when crafting purple gear, I checked the full formula and built everything needed to obtain each component at the first Sub‑PAC in Valley 4.Uh, if there's a guide somewhere to help me get everything running (factory included - I haven't touched this shit since last weekend) and set everything up as fast as possible to focus on other things, I'd love to see it and make it all happen before the weekend.
