I checked his IMDB and his only upcoming project is a game called Evolutis: Duality. I foolishly considered a new look at Star Wars Eclipse could be what he is hinting at.

Maybe ... but highly doubt it will be anything to the level that people are thinking.

At most, you can expect more Marathon/upcoming 3rd party details and at best we might get release dates for Wolverine and Marvel Tokon.

Since GTA 6 is out this year, this is another coast year for Sony especially with the big Xbox games like Halo, Forza and maybe Gears launching on the PS5 in the same year.
 
Curious to see which third party series Sony will have privatized this time. They could privatize Forza Horizon 6, that would be hilarious.

It makes me so happy to hear people talk about Colony Wars. As time goes by, fewer and fewer people seem to remember it, even though the trilogy was absolutely brilliant.

Unfortunately, there's virtually no chance it will ever come back… it's a dead license, and there's hardly any audience left for space opera anymore.

So we can shout "Kron!" as many times as we want, it's not coming back.

Fantastic trilogy that just died with the PS1.

Thinking about it, Sony are sat on a lot of golden IPs that would be ripe for a come back.

Colony Wars, G-Police, Destruction Derby, Twisted Metal, Ghost Hunter (does anyone remember that?!), Wipeout, Warhawk, Syphon Filter.......

Fucking do something with them, Sony!

To this day, no SoP has delivered as any of the last E3 Sony made, no counting the year they decided it was important to stop the show so people had to be moved to another place and watch the golf club simulator in order to stroke Cuckman's ego :pie_roffles:

Don't get your hopes up, probably showing Marathon again, this gaas turd Guerrilla been wasting time with, some minor third party games, filler as usual with indies and maybe and update about Saros, which is the only thing worth coming from their internal studios...

This is why State of Plays are "shit" for a lot of you guys...imagine following HipHipGamer in 2026 and believing any of this.

Keep your expectations in check. I can't believe i read "Bloodborne 2" in every single State of Play topic...if this is where "good" starts y'all will always hate these shows.
 
Well, getting a new Hot Shots Golf was a monkey paw moment. PS2 classics of Downhill Domination of Extermination or we fucking riot! ...and nial nial sells all his Sony stock.

Last one. People have been saying "I don't like SOPs, but the last one was good" for 2 years at this point lol.
And the ones before 2022 were genuinely terrible so I don't get this "it's been long since they've been good" angle.

I'd say a B is good and C is average, so less than 50% of GAF voters found the SOP good or better.

I always found C to be decent.

I'm actually shocked they haven't dug into their gold mine of IPs. They're just letting so many collect dust.
