Pragmata..... Reach for the Moon.

Also MHStories 3, that game is fucking phenomenal.
You are right. I've forgotten about this! I've seen pretty good reviews and praises by fans. Unfortunately, Monster Hunter isn't my cup of tea but it seems like a banger as well!

I wish they'd make a new Breath of Fire, though. Breath of Fire IV is still great. The visuals hold up really well, and it's just a solid JRPG.

Capcom made the best move I've ever seen.

Their best creation, besides making great games that their audience loves, is the RE Engine.

I highly praise this engine.

The thread title should be the OT name. Just sayin'.

IMO, since the name is Greek (Πράγματα = Pragmata = things) an OT like, say, "Pragmata: Ωραία πράγματα" ("nice things") would be nice 😉

Love when Japanese devs just use Greek and Latin nomenclatures 'just cause, then again, most terms/words in today's English speaking world derive from Greek and Latin so...

While English is highly influenced by Latin. English is actually a Germanic language. But the latin influences are there none the less.

Between RE9, the Onimusha reboot and this, Capcom are on fucking fire this year.
Asian devs in general have been eating AAA Western devs breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert lately. Crimson Desert, Tides of Annihilation, Beast of Reincarnation, and Phantom Blade Zero are also games that I've been keeping my eyes on.

Capcom's newest creation is less than a month away, and Huber got to put some time into a more expansive area, getting deeper into its realtime hacking systems and checking out its cozy hub.

Coming April 17 to PC, PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S

I just learned that you can use 当 as "this", which is confusing for me
Why so ? It's used in a lot of words, like 当日 (toujitsu, today), or such. It's extremely common :messenger_grinning_smiling:
But if you are referring to the tweet above, it's not used in the "this" way, it's used as "Try to guess", "Ateru, 当てる". + -mite (to try, when used with a verb in -te form)".

Just adding, the most precise litteral translation would probably be "Try to win (guessing) !". For example, I won the lottery would be "宝くじが当たった!" I won the lottery !

But if you are referring to the tweet above
I am not, but the tweet reminded me that

And about "why so?" that's because I barely saw it in another meaning than the classic "hontô"

Like I see more frequently "kyô" rather than tôjitsu. I know the meaning aren't the same, but to illustrate.

This games controls being great and the game being straight forward makes it sound like the perfect break from Crimson Desert imo. Ha!
The controls and character movement is fantastic. It's biggest reason why I was completely sold on the game.

To me hacking mechanic wouldn't work if the controls was clunky but Capcom completely nailed it.

Yes I was surprised by the responsiveness of the controls and that I didn't totally hate the hacking.

Just tried the demo for the first time, it's good, i'll probably get this, but want to see what performance is like on PS5 Pro before i decide to get it on Steam or PlayStation.

it sucks that the PC demo doesn't have the path tracing mode, because that's what I want to know the performance of. RE9 on a 3060ti was playable with path tracing, but only at 30fps really. so I wonder if this is more or less demanding

I played multiple times and I got so efficient on hacking that could hacking enemies while hovering.

What I like about the hacking is not overly complicated but you still to pay attention enemies coming out you while hacking.

As much as NieR Automata the biggest issue with 9S's hacking was it would stop action it goes separate screen which kinda gets in way flow of the battle but with Pragmata you hacking real time while fighting the enemies.

Completed the demo now. It's definitely on my radar. First time I tried the demo was on switch 2 with the default controls and it was a bit hard to control, but on PC with a real controller, the controls felt fantastic. Not sure about that price though, but I see potential in the game.

Yeah, it almost feels deliberate in the way they've done the mouse and keyboard controls on PC. It's really fucking bad. But I remember Devil May Cry 4 heaving similar dogshit controls on PC as well, so it wouldn't be a first for Capcom. The game runs great, though. Well optimized from what I have experienced.

Wow... I bought the Japanese deluxe edition. It's going to include the Mexican Spanish dub! Mexico is among the best voice actors in the world... Sometimes they even improve on the original material and the original Japanese.

Cool it's this month. Watched some gameplay videos. Was more game-y than it looks. Not what I expected from the cinematic trailer in a good way.
Reminded me of Astral Chain.

Did you try the "Sketchbook" demo? That's what really sold me on the game.

I'm hoping that the Switch 2 version runs at a solid clip once you get to more open areas. It was pretty consistent in the demo's level, but those were more confined spaces.
