I used to like Shamrock in the day, I remember a match in an octagon but I think they called it a lions den or something, maybe against Shane o?

Unless my bad memory is playing tricks on me.
Lions Den match? I think it was against Steve Blackman at Fully Loaded 1999, or that might have been the iron circle match.

Edit: decided to actually look it up, summerslam 1999 was the lions den match against Blackman

Pfft, whatever. Who needs the WWE anyway? I'll just go to New Japan and use that as my theme. I'm sure MVP could use a new tag partner.

Bring back the Legend Killer gimmick WWE! Randy was actually good during those years, but I guess I can see why they won't bring it back. Who else would he have to face?

Randy was pretty good during those years, but I still say his best stint was from 2007 to 2009, when he went on a psychotic rampage, punting wrestlers in the head (legend and superstar alike), talking like a sociopath, and generally just acting vicious with his in-ring mannerisms.

But then, I like psychopathic characters better than cocky/narcissistic characters. Hence why I like Stone Cold better than the Rock. I just see the world of wrestling as one in which a person with severe anti-social disorders would thrive, since everything is solved with violence and back-stabbing.

Arenas > Stadiums.

Plus a JBL title match.

In terms of visuals i have to go with stadiums but arenas mostly always have the hottest crowds.

WM24 had the best set up ever with great fireworks. I watched WM20 for kicks the other day and the set was GARBAGE (the titan tron in the back during the matches was a nice touch). But the crowd was hot from start to finish.Stadium fans are usually quiet a lot and really only get hot for a match or 2.

Just got done watching the WWE Legends roundtable discussion of the nWo featuring JJ Dillon, Michael Hayes, Gene Okerlund, Kevin Nash, and Jim Ross and it was a great watch. I never knew Hogan originally declined the decision to become the 3rd man in the nWo and it was going to be Sting instead of Hogan. Sting said absolutely not and they finally convinced Hogan to do it. They also go into details of the contracts that they got back in WCW and Nash tells a story of how WCW freaked out when WWE started hyping fake Diesel and Razor on tv thinking these guys were going back to WWE, because at that point they hadn't signed their final contracts yet, so WCW calls them up to Atlanta and offers them an extra $400,000 a year not to go back to WWE.

Hopefully this post is sarcasm. If not, then fuck you, your dog, and your whole family

That part is. Comedy like that and wrestling should stay away from each other. Cabana failed in the WWE for that exact reason. All comedian wrestlers suck.

Comedian wrestlers are fine. Whole comedic matches, do suck though. Cabana is great at threading the line between both. injecting a bit of comedy in an overall serious match, and still making it work as a whole. Santino's comedy seems to take over the whole match, meaning that if he ever got to hold a belt, you could not take him serious. Cabana could hold a belt, and still seems a threat.
