The PlayStation Vita In 2011-2012

It obviously has a tiny bit of internal memory given Welcome Park is on there, but besides that, they could actually make some carts and toss them in.

Spend money making game. Spend more manufacturing carts. Give away for free.

Good luck.

It's been far too long since a new HSG game. One of my favorite franchises, can't believe they sidelined it so much this generation with GPS PSP half games that never even came across the sea. Last real HSG was the 2nd PSP one.

well this is HSG5 so hopefully that satisfies your needs.

That pretty much drops the value on the First Edition bundle. Not as good a deal anymore. I know that Japanese game prices don't equal US game prices, but consider that often they have to pay up to 5000Y for their portable games.

How would it drop the value? You still won't have to buy a memory card and 4gb should keep you going up until memory cards start dropping in price. I'll eventually will have to buy a bigger one since I plan on playing a lot of PSP games.

Well I do get where you are coming from though.

It's just not that great a deal anymore. Okay, technically that remains to seen. If Little Deviants is priced at the standard $40 retail when it releases at Vita's US launch. But what if it were a $20 download. I mean, at 2000Y, that's like $15 US.

It would be $25, not $15 if converted.

HSG might be a double dipper. If I import then I'd probably get RR/HSG/UC on card (as I'll not be using a Japanese PSN account day to day). Then depending on the multiplayer modes I might get HSG as a PSN download when its out in the UK.

Looking at this thread has got me so excited I've fired up my psp again. Does anyone know if you will be able to organise your games in your own way? Having my psp, ps1 and minis mixed together frustrates me in an OCD way.

We still haven't seen how that will work but it seems you can arrange the "bubbles" in different pages(categories) on the main screen but that's just my take on what I've seen and it might be different.

I wonder if Japan's pricing for Little Deviants is Sony throwing them a bone since Japanese customers are usually reamed in the butt on prices for other games.

Or they know that LD is nothing but a glorified collection of mini games. Makes me worried.

How does the prices in the japanese PS Store compared to EU/US prices? Retail game prices in Japan are usually more expencive in Japan.

Japanese PSN store prices tend to aim for 500 yen cheaper than retail. For Vita's launch, a large number of Vita games are going on big discount on PSN. I know Ridge Racer is supposed to be like 3000 yen on PSN instead of the 5000 yen in retail.

The surprisingly cheap price tag of RR is the main reason why I think it won't look any better than it did in the recent trailer.

They realized that they couldn't ship something half decent after 6-7 months of development, so preemptively attaching a BOMBA price tag was their last resort.

That is cool. But i was mostly thinking about prices in general :) Like, a $10 PSN game, how much is that in the japanese PS Store?

I was indulging in a bit of nostalgia with my PSP1001 today. I use my PSPgos most of the time (I've got one for PSN stuff and one that's CFW'd for rips from my rather large UMD library) and I use my PSP3000 to play UMDs now, but I'll always love my first PSP - it's such a heavy, solid piece of hardware. Anyway, I pulled it out to rip Portable Ops so I can play it on my CFW PSPgo, and took a couple minutes to page through the hundreds of save game files I have on the system dating back to 2005... So many great games... So many great memories... I feel like the Vita is going to revitalize and carry on that legacy - I can't wait!

PSVita Hub, if you read this, here's why your image was easily found out to be fake:

- Why would there be box art of an unannounced game?
- The exuberant amount of Japanese text on a box that is clearly for the west.
- Weirdly positioned ESRB logo.
- Having the Bandai Namco logo cut into the Tekken Tag Team 2 logo.
- Using both the Bandai Namco, and Namco logos on the front cover. Real Scamco games now only use either Bandai or Namco logos, and have the combined logo on only the back cover.

Well to be fair, they took it from a blogspot that has only this one article that seems like the only reason they made the blogspot was to make this fake image.
