Nakamura is hilarious. Might be one of my favorite heel styles right now. The "lazy ass guy who really doesn't give a shit about anything until he starts to give a shit and pins people down with knee strikes" thing he has going on is gold. His mannerisms are funny as hell. Really fun card.

Wouldn't it be awesome if New Japan put their major shows on iPPV? I'd gladly pay to watch Wrestle Kingdom VI live on my computer. They don't even need English commentators or anything, just give me the show as is.

Rise above what, Shawn?

It ridiculous that King of the Ring is no longer around. WWE's lack of tournaments grinds my gears.

You'd think they'd love to have KOTR as a PPV. Once you have 8 guys, you have just booked a full PPV + WWE Title match. No need for storylines, which is great since they never have storylines heading into PPVs these days anyway.

Also, I loved what they started with King of the Ring '02 where the winner of the tournament got a shot at the WWE Title at SummerSlam. Seemed like a perfect transition for a mid-carder that you weren't convinced could be a draw at WM.

Who needs King of the Ring when we got Hell in a Cell.

Eh guys?

*nudge nudge*

I remember on one of the streams recently

Parallax: The AI doesn't even know that there's a damn cage around the ring, it might as well be not there.

Yup, it's just like real life.

its true though. whats the point of putting people in a cage if theres no reason for the cage to be there. if the cage was eletrified, or if touching the cage meant being eliminated from the match, thats one thing. but if not, then why

Those Sin Cara vids have me and my buddy in tears. They're incredible.

*shrug*

Del Rio/Cena/Punk didn't do anything with the cage except maybe lock Cena out.

I'm not asking them to fall off the cage but maybe just eh forget it.

Just watching this weeks FCW and was surprised to see a pair of Kaientai Dojo wrestlers making their debut as 'Jiro' (Taishi Takizawa) & 'Sakamoto' (KAZMA). Both are pretty good, but don't get to show much in their debut match, losing to a pair of muscled gorillas who were just awful. Hopefully they do well, as I think WWE needs a greater variety of international talent.

Just watched Impact.

The triple threat main event between Styles, Hardy and Roode is a glorious display of wrestling.

Roode works so well as a heel. Also, Hardy's wrestling better than he ever has at TNA, so props to him for reviving his career.

No they don't, this is WWE we are talking about, one token asian guy is all we need, just like Funaki and Jimmy Wang Yang before him, Yoshi Tatsu will be replaced as soon as the next Asian wrestler comes onto the WWE scene, there can be only one.

Also on theme of Smackdown vs Raw videos, I don't know why but this is the funniest thing I think I've ever seen.

Cena just tweeted that it's time to get the WWE Championship back.

:lol

If rumors are true, I am all for a triple threat ladder match at TLC. Throwing Cena in the mix will help with his hell turn tease story line, as Punk will get most of the cheers and Cena and Berto will share the jeers.

No one wants to see another Punk V Berto match.

edit:

Let's take a look at Del Rio's championship record. He is a two time champion with a submission move as his finisher. Times he won the belt via submission: Zero. Times he lost the belt via submission: Two.

For anyone interested, Ring of Honor had an 8 man tag team match in their Sunday Matinee show in North Carolina that went 80 minutes. That's their longest match since the 2/3 falls match with Bryan Danielson vs Austin Aries. The match was advertised as having a 2 hour time limit. It featured:

Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin), "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards, and El Generico vs. Mark & Jay Briscoe, Roderick Strong, and "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin with Truth Martini

I'll be looking for this one on a dvd eventually.

So I watched RoH Saturday to see Young Bucks vs. Future Shock. Dat spot fest.

Seriously dudes were doing some insane spots and the guy taking the spots would no sell it. The shit was a wreck and I liked it...but no enough to watch RoH every week. >_>

Nakamura's pretty much my favourite heel in Japan at the moment, he's just so damn amazing. I'm uploading the 12/04 PPV at the moment and he has an AWESOME match with Tetsuya Naito.

Same, 80 minutes is somewhat overkill, but the match was said to be very good.

Haha, yeah, those are pretty much the two most spotty teams on the indies at the moment. It's fun to watch, but I prefer the Briscoes & ANX when it comes to putting on tag matches that aren't just a crazy sprint.

I live in eternal hope that one day WWE will take Japanese wrestlers seriously, instead of having one on the roster just to get a cheap pop from the crowds when they tour Japan. Traditionally, however, while US wrestlers have often found success in Japan, the same can't be said for Japanese wrestlers in the US (probably because of the tendency to use them in clichéd roles or as a comedy act).

Wow, interesting statistic!

With the hilarious revolving door the title has been since May, WHY NOT! Hell, put it on pedoswaggle.

Punk is on the TLC cover so I doubt Cena will get it back.

watch them give it to Cena again haha
