Sorry, but I really wanna finish Demon's Souls at least once before the servers shut down I even think about touching Dark Souls.

Plus, I bought that 360 WWE All-Stars Fitestik off Amazon this morning, just a few minutes before it went back up in price (!), so I'm happy but kinda brassic.

Everything else will have to wait
except the Xmas Steam Sale, which I'll have to raise some coin for
. C'est la vie
...oh wait, I'm not allowed to speak French anymore, never mind. SEIG CAMERON

I don't have the testicular fortitude to go anywhere near Dark Souls. True story.

It's not really as hard as some people make it out to be. It only requires patience. You can get through the dungeons pretty easily if you play co-op. It almost becomes too easy in co-op. I beat the last boss in less than 30 seconds with the help of two other players. Playing alone is a different story though.

Keyser, remind me, did you say WWE 12 was or was not worth the £27 you paid for it?

I guess WWE 12 is fine if you really like customization, and can put up with the flaws, but the main gameplay still feels patched up instead of fixed in any way. Parts of the new stuff looks and feels really good, but it is just threw on top of the old stuff that has been broken for the last few years. I traded my copy in once I got the achievements - and thankfully the Irish trade-in price was still high, so I got all my money back. I am probably kinder on the game because of that. If I had actually spent £25 on it I don't think I would not be happy

I would honestly Buy Dark Souls instead of WWE 12. It is not as hard as people say. It is in-fact fair. If you look as COD on Veteran, that is an unfair game, and one that is totally maddening when you lose/die as death are totally random. Dark Souls feels like an accomplishment when you beat an area or find something. It is very rewarding at all times, and most of the deaths are fair (you die because you messed up). The game only starts becoming a bit dickish as you reach the very end - with a few unfair death that cannot be avoided (but that is 50+ hours in).

Looking to buy some Xmas presents and wondering if there are any good deals on CoD MW3 Wii and Need for Speed The Run X360?

You must really hate people to buy those :P

CoD MW3 Wii seem to be sitting at £32.99, so there is no real deal for that

Need for Speed The Run recently fell to £24.99 in a lot of places, but went back up a few £££. Amazon however still have it at £24.99 right now, but that was them price-matching, so it will likely go up soon again.

If only this was cat food, I'll pass. :(

Do we have a definite date on that? I have a nagging feeling it basically needs to be the first game I play next year.

Wii (White) + Wii Remote Plus + Xenoblade Chronicles - £79.99 @ Game

Wow. I kinda wish I didn't already have a Wii and Xenoblade.

Anyone who doesn't have a Wii yet and has even a passing interest in RPGs, get this! I'd say Xenoblade is the JRPG of the generation, and up there for the best ever.

EDIT: Seems to be out of stock already :(

Thanks for that, ordered The Run. No idea why my friend want's this, can't stand it myself.

£12.99? Man we used to get so excited at £17.99 after a few months!

Admittedly I don't buy many games for more than £10-£15 these days.

Waiting on LOTR and Halo to drop...

Went into Gamestation and saw that Skyrim is £22.49 on 360/PS3 for a limited time. You can't argue at that price but i then used the credit on my loyalty card to get the 360 version which brought it down to £13.60

Bargain of the year for me.

German-Gaf: Gamestar's current DVD game is Venetica, a very fun Zelda/WRPG mix with a nice storyline, needs a half-decent CPU though but is massively underrated. Also CBS got freaking Alpha Protocol!

I still buy games I really want on launch. I think twice about anything else though. No point in paying more if it's just going to drop by £20 in a few weeks!

Exactly. I personally feel games would sell far far more and would actually make more profit if they were £20-25 upon release anyway. I know that I personally would be able to afford so many more games if they were around the £20 mark - not only more games but more games NEW instead of preowned.
