Graphics that look like the Star Wars movies?
or Gameplay that takes you to a whole new level??

I'd go with the latter.

So, by this you mean all 3 Next-Gen consoles(Wii, 360, PS3) are 1/2-Next-Gen materials? :)

New gameplay experiences don't require new controllers. If you think they do, congrats, you are officially jaded.

What? PS3 and 360 both have games that take gameplay to the next level. Sorry, your pathetic attempt at stealth Wii pimping ftl :(

Oh yeah? Let's hear some of your ideas. :D

I'd rather hear you say why new gameplay experiences require the Revmote. You're the one that appears to believe that, so I believe the burden of proof lies on you to support such a bold statement. Fact is, there's nothing I've seen in Revolution footage that couldn't be done with a "normal" controller.

I'm in on day 1, but that has more to do with another Mario platformer than it does the controller. As a matter of fact, as far as I'm concerned, I'm getting a Rev in spite of the controller.

How am I 'stealth Wii pimping'?? :lol
I said ALL 3 o wise one.

It means a new piece of hardware and more money out of my pocket. That's about it.

I don't buy consoles for flashy graphics or new ways to play, I buy them because I love gaming and I want to continue experiencing new titles.

Don't even bother trying to bullshit dude. You said "Given the choose of next-gen graphics OR Next-Gen Gameplay (LMFAOHOLYSHITWHATFUCKINGIDIOTSAYSTHIS), which would you choose? I choose the ladder"

The LADDER being equivalent to "Wii", with you supplimenting the wrongness with your critical analysis of 360/PS3 being unable to offer "next-gen gameplay experiences." Thus your invitation to WhiteMan to think up ideas.

A mix of both but mostly seeing my favorite game franchises improve visually, technically and gameplay wise.

I'm not a big graphics whore so I prefer most of the upgrades to come in the way of improved & steady framerates, non-existent load times and more game content.

Hmmm...were the games on the show floor not enough to convince you that you CAN'T swing the DS3 like a bat and have the game react to the motions? Or are you not convince at the fact that the DS3 will have a hard time manipulating sword movements??...they probably could pull it off, but the results will be shoddy I guarantee you...like most of Sony's products.

So here you go, just a few examples on things you could do with the Wiimote not possible on the archaic DS3 controller.

So anyhow, your turn...what are some of your 'ideas' huh?? BRING IT!

1080p virtual reality glasses (full stereo imaging) with head tracking would have done it.

As it is, I have been happy with graphics since the Dreamcast so games these days look beyond great. Better than I ever thought I'd see in the 80s when I first dreamed of future games.

heh...got me.

$600

Okay, now that thats out of my system:

some combination of Lost Planet, Mario Galaxy, Oblivion's scope, and small, odd, fun little games that we haven't seen nearly enough of. Maybe a bit of Stranglehold on the side. And more games where you don't kill things.

That's innovative? How does that change the way baseball games are played? The only thing it changes is how many things in my living room will get smashed due to a concept that's pretty pointless when you think about it. And btw, "a few examples" usually means more than 1.

So anyhow, your turn...what are some of your 'ideas' huh?? BRING IT!

Spore.

There we go, time to shed your sheep's clothing and let your true intentions out.
