Bro, with making a film about a superhero I think he does a pretty damn good job at finding a tasteful balance between comic book elements and IRL. You need all of these outlandish things to happen.

Do any of the rants address the fact that we are TOLD via dialogue that Harvey Dent was the hero of Gotham and it's inspiration..instead of conveying through actual storytelling who he is. I didn't see him do one thing in that movie that would make me "believe" in him.

There were a lot of things you could have questioned about the Joker's doings. Some of his schemes were just unbelievable but the tone and his super captivating persona alone led you to believe all of it and dismiss any disbelief.

Aronofsky at one point was supposed to direct the Batman films. I think Jett would have enjoyed that. Bruce Wayne would have been a recovering alcoholic and Joker would have been a speed freak. Bane, too.

I hope Zimmer has a beefier version of Molossus cooked up for TDKR. Like A Dog Chasing Cars was more sweeping and melodic, but I want the raw, driving power of Molossus back.

I like how both themes represent their characteristics. The Joker's is sporadic, random and sharp, while Bane's is focused, intense and constantly driving.

I thought the football scene looked a lot better than some of you are making it seem.

Yea it does sorta feel like that, but I have way more faith in Nolan to still make these crazy scenes feel more grounded or at least make sense in the movie. I guess with going even bigger it had a chance of going this way. The idea behind what's being shown in the football scene is fucked up (Bane is one twisted fuck ), but like you said its weird looking cause of the CG and just makes it feel more comic-book-ish and out of place. The dude still running :\

Really want a QT HD quality trailer even more now though.
