Where are the security guards leading him to the ring? Where are the Goldberg chants?

Best shot is Bane gripping the insides of his coat

Even in slightly better quality, the football scene still looks dumb to me.

Would be better from the football player's inside helmet POV. See the crowd in front of him reacting, dust blowing past him. Then turn around. But I guess it wouldn't be a Nolan film without some iffy CG.

Can anyone make a gif of Bane with his coat in the prologue video? It's where he's walking out in front of city hall or whatever that important building we've seen where the fight breaks out.

What did Bane say to Bruce?

"When Gotham is ___________, you have my permission to die"

The problem I have with the football scene is that Ward's reaction doesnt fit. He doesn't feel the ground shaking? He doesn't look back to see the defenders position? Then the way he turns around and throw the ball to the side is odd too.

What if Bane left the league of shadows to go and start his own clan? And that clan is just the mercenaries you see following Bane.

Cause Bane really seems like a man who can run an army/operation on his own terms. I think he pissed off Ra's and left. That would explain the
ninja looking figures. You can't have these mercenaries be ninjas. They're just loonies with guns taking orders from a smooth talking, ass kicking warlord. So that would be MASSIVE. The police vs. LOS (w/ Talia) vs. Bane's army. Maybe Talia and Bane will have a feud over who gets to kill Batman/Bruce.

Some crazy last night was complaining that you can hear someone drop something in that scene which caused Ledger to spill his champagne. I've never noticed either though.

There are background noises of his thugs being thugs. He grabs the glass violently, spilling most of it, then throws it over his shoulder. He's obviously never startled or anything.

Anyway...

Prologue: oh my god ohmygodohmygod

Ashes.

Agreed. I dunno, it just looks super cheesy as is.

In ashes I believe.

Bane is starting class warfare.
Dragging people out of there homes as Stalin once did to the royal family before slaughtering them.
feels good man.

Nolan and co have got to start using different ADR departments. I still can't believe Inception won for sound mixing.

They said they were in the process of ADR after they first showed off the prologue to press and other directors. So it should be better in the final version of the movie.

From the trailer, where Mathew Modine and the other guy are talking about Gordon as he goes to the podium, you can see a picture on the left side of Harvey Dent. There's a picture on the right side, but I can't really see anything but a dark spot. Maybe it's just a 2nd picture of Dent, maybe it's someone else, perhaps even Rachel :P

Why does Dent get deified, and Rachel #2 is just forgotten. Sucks to be an ADA, I guess.

I'm going to Nolan hell / Limbo for saying this, but I still don't like the Bane mask here. Nolan's Joker was a spot-on "horrifyingly real life" visualization of the comic character. His Bane though, seems like a character out of a 1990s low budget comic book movie. Designed by someone who didn't understand the visual language of the original character and didn't realize their concept looked goofy.

To me, it's bad enough to be really distracting whenever I see him on screen. Still, he has the voice, the swagger, and the acting chops to make those aspects work. It's too bad he couldn't have also been as visually spot-on as Ledger's Joker.

I just sent the prologue to the two people who asked since I got it.

It's Megavideo so I can't save to hard drive, if anyone has a DDL link I would appreciate it.
