To what country? The Vita/games/accessories seem to fall under harmonization code 9504.90.4000 ("Game machines, other than those operated by coins, banknotes (paper currency), disc or similar articles; parts and accessories thereof ") which I believe has no additional duties when brought into the US.

Be lucky to live in the US. Here in Poland duties are 30%-50% of total value. Thankfully most of the time I can skim it by asking the seller to mark down the package.

You could do worse.
According to various sites, different chains are opening their stores at different times, so you could get 1 at 7am, then move to another store for 8am and 9am. I seriously doubt you will easily get five, though. Especially since it's supposed to be 3:1 ratio of 3G:wifi only models.

Yes - all integrated with PSN list, and yes it has a platinum. The list is pretty similar to what you'd expect from an Uncharted game.
Early doors, but the game itself feels like a real collection frenzy, and the aiming is terribad.
Can't access the PSN store from my US account - I'm hoping that's just because the US isn't Vita compatible yet?

More info on Uncharted trophies:

It really is very similar to other Uncharted games - number of kills with a certain weapon, melee kills etc... A lot of them are for completing 'mysteries' and treasure sets. One is hidden.
There are also some trophies built into the OS for completing certain control tutorials in what they call 'Welcome Park'.

I didn't even bother asking and he hasn't said that it doesn't. Not to mention English trophy list. Every Uncharted game released over here has full English support so it seems to be the same with Golden Abyss.

So here's something odd when my friend jumps on his Vita's PSN it doesn't show him online for me but when he sends me a message it pops him up on my list and then quickly signs him off. That and the synced stuff not showing..I wonder..

update from friend:

Something definitely up with psn integration - maybe ok after official release? My friends list shows me as in uncharted. When I go in game it says network disabled. All very shaky. Shrug.

I would hope that Resistance would use the right stick through the code for the DS3 built into it (you could use the right analog stick for camera when playing the game hooked up through your PS3)

I played it most of the way through with a DS3 and it definitely made it less fun. The game was obviously designed with one stick in mind, so adding a second stick indeed made it worse.
