NHL December |OT| The Team You Cheer For is Not Good Compared To Our Team

Michalek, Staal and Vitale are all game-time decisions. If Staal and Vitale are out, this is going to be a wild one. Anyway, go Pens! If you lose this, I'm going to post a faux meltdown post where I call for everyone to be fired or traded.

A better PK :(

This is one of my major complaints against Hitchcock during his time in Philly. Despite winning consistently the Special Teams numbers were never up to snuff. With the team he had winning should have been expected. Having special teams numbers that are worse than your 5 on 5 numbers is a clear indication of bad coaching IMO. People have generally disagreed with me.

Seriously? I mean part of me is saying "Yes, hope he gets fired!" Then I realize a kid got assaulted :/ The kid probably called McQuaid a dirty player. Milbury had to defend his honor.

Where does that kid get off questioning McQuaid's honor?! How many studs get picked by the future queen to be on her personal crew team? I mean look at this guy:

Kid deserved it.

Pretty boring period. We're always kind of sluggish in the first for some reason, considering that we played alright. Somehow escaped the period leading in shots and chances after a really bad start. Hopefully we bring the heat in the second and third.

It also seems to me that the Sens are trying to start something but no one on the Pens really seems to care. I wonder if that'll calm down after this period.

That period almost put me to sleep. It's like the Carolina game all over again, so far. But they'll get that goal eventually, just need to keep at it.

I don't even understand it. That looks like a normal cityscape from a hotel window. There are so many examples of boarded up buildings in Buffalo and he posts that?
All I got from the tweet is that English apparently isn't Lupul's first language.

If you guys want to open the can of worms on the Foligno hit, lets hear it straight from the horse's mouth.

Draw your own conclusions.
What do their comments have to do with anything? We've got video. We've seen the hit. And we can compare hit to an identical hit two weeks ago that resulted in a four-game suspension.

Great point. Foligno missed 1 shift and was out there for the ensuing penalty. There was no intent to injure. $2,500 is the maximum amount a player can get fined and he got a 5 minute major plus a game misconduct.

Case closed.

Deal with it.
So you think that because of a "lack of intent" (let's assume this is true) and the lack of an injury, that there shouldn't have been any suspension?
