I really wish both Bleach and Naruto spend more time expanding there universe.
This goes way more for Naruto than Bleach since Naruto world could have been awesome if we found out more about it before the war .

Isnt that what fillers, movies, and databooks are for? Naruto went to all these lands and nations hidden in stuff, new jutsus explored, hideouts uncovered..etc.

Fillers and Movies, exist in some alternate dimension where it never happened when it comes back to the main story, for example I'd be shocked, if the Naruto anime referenced that Sora guy who was a fake 9 tails, when the kinkajuu brothers pop up.
What a way to end the fighting and go back to the sillyness (probably for the better), I'd love how the whole match up between the other characters and the enemies was for nothing.
Lol you know that WSJ will never burn not as long as it has Bleach , HxH , Naruto and OP .
Plus Jimp SQ is monthly why would anyone wanted those series to be monthly when they so good weekly already .
Naruto
So what will happen if Naruto goes around freeing all the tailed beasts?
Is this the direction of this manga, now that they have names collect them all as allies/friends?
Does he host them all in his body?
Unite all the villages in the process?

All caught up. This is like partially my dream manga before I even realized it. The characters are great and the fights have been awesome so far. Love Tarou's use of the dual blades and gun at the same time.
A bit late to the party here, but just an observation;
To me Eiji feels kinda like Sasuke "done right", I want to see the heroes defeat him due to the Genius v.s. Planning fight going on in the background, not because one of them is a total dickbutt that should die.
The fact that Naruto eventually devolved into "special gifted person" versus "special gifted person where the gift wasn't as obvious" really bothers me, because the only reason I want to see Naruto outdo Sasuke is in the silent hope that rather than a Talk-no-Jutsu Sasuke will get his ass kicked over and over in as awful a way as possible. I don't even care for naruto to be the one to do this If a random ninja ended up castrating and mutilating Sasuke off-panel it'd be just as satisfying a defeat.
With Eiji the mutual rivalry and respect combined with him being the only true hardcore genius in the entire story makes him a much more interesting end game rival, and more so, someone who needs to get defeated by Ashirogi Muto for a satisfying ending, more so than his defeat in general being enough.
(To contrast this, someone like Nanamine is much better off with a pathetic type of defeat (such as one of the old mangaka he kicked off of his team doing better) where he doesn't just get defeated by Ashirogi Muto, but several other less important characters as well.
Either way, random rant based on the latest chapter making me feel good.
Yes I know Sasuke and Eiji are completely different characters, when saying he's Sasuke "done right" I'm talking entirely and only about the portrayal of a Genius versus the rest of the characters in the story. In Naruto being a "genius" isn't special, it's obligatory to matter at all.
I'm starting to feel that this comics sales talk is just there as filler to extend the rivalry. It's pretty clear that Reversi is already superior to Zombie Gun in quality and in Jump ranking so now they need to add another category to make Zombie Gun looks like it's winning.
I can't wait for the "breather that isn't a breather" chapters from now on

The problem with Bakuman is that there's no connection between the informative content and the character development, which makes the story arbitrary and boring. The only successful chapter of the series is when Hiramaru goes on his first date because the story reflected the decisions Ashirogi were making for their manga. The focus on Eiji's rivalry should have been stronger when the focus was on building rivals for Reversi, and now Eiji's antagonism isn't really believable or interesting.
Another mistake is that there's no panels for Reversi's story progression, undermining its impact on the manga. The sales battle is meaningless, it's only there to emphasize that Reversi and Zombie Gun are new stories, which was already taken care of by the votes. Nothing was added by bringing it up other than to say Eiji has a better reputation than Ashirogi, which was already apparent.
Either the Death Note guys lack the skill to use the information Ashirogi learn through developing manga as a driving force for developing their character, or they're artificially extending the length of the manga, making the previous arc an act of courageous rebellion against Shueisha from repressed artists. Which I doubt.
I dunno. I guess I don't.....really like this arc. I don't get why he cut off Chihiro that way, like it seems out of character-stupid for him to break her off in that fashion knowing that even assuming Ayumi didn't hear it directly, she'd probably find out. Like it just didn't seem very well thought out. I suppose it could be going somewhere, but it was weirdly cut off by that whole "spirit island" thing.
The English word play ("oh my God!") was unintentional, so purists insist on "Ah!" even though Fujishima said that if the pun works, they should use it.

It seemed to me like he was trying to ensure that Chihiro stayed far away from him and therefore far away from danger, and hurting her enough was the most convenient way to do it.
The breather chapters is a call back to the the Hiramaru proposal chapter. I think some of you guys look for these ideas to be used in the fictional manga instead of looking in the actual manga.
I love that Eiji is being fleshed out as being very "shounen" for a lack of a better descriptor, and he writes a very shounen manga. While Shujin and Mashiro are cunning and scheming. Most of the authors share the traits of the manga they write actually. Hiramaru is weird and used as comedic relief. Fukuda is manly and cool. I think Aiko is he only one who doesn't really match her manga.
Vinland Saga
Interesting development with the runaway slave story. I'm a little worried about Arneis. Those hands didn't look good and considering the time period it could be more serious than we think. I hope Thorfin doesn't turn his back on the Olds Gods for this new southern weakling.

He really just didn't have to cut it off so harshly. Saying something like "After this date, I don't believe it will work out" would be fine. Or even "There is another girl in my heart," meaning Ayumi. The way he did it just pissed off Chihiro for no reason who is tight with Ayumi. But I guess you could just say Keima is sort of cracking or simply human? IDK but I agree it didn't make sense.

Decide on a good, believable story, and lie the fuck out of it. Keima's being too obvious in his route and she can clearly see what he's trying to do.
I don't really buy that he can't do anything besides make her forgive him.
Harisugawa
...no, normally, usually, according to common sense, when someone says "i'm moving to america" he doesn't mean "my parents are moving to america and i'm staying"

This is how I read Bakuman too, they seem to be lampshade hanging their own writing in a lot of these chapters, rather than using their fictional manga to show it Bakuman itself often has chapters that clearly show the discussed writing style in action.
Heck, it's why I enjoy Bakuman, I consider it more of an educational manga than anything.
TWGOk 172 - Chihiro is totally ruining this Ayumi arc.
Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa 24 - I'm pretty sure I made the comment before of how in the hell has no one else made the connection from that picture. Looks like it's the plot device to inform Satomi after all; hooray!
Until it gets resolved some other way because 80 more chapters must be made.
Also, "I'm going to America!" == "I'm not going to America!" That's some bizarre logic; perhaps the subtleties of it was lost in translation or was it just "oh, shit, I guess I can't really do that, huh?" solving from Kano?
