Both had decent S1 and iffy S2; SEED was spared the movie about alien whales but 00 went through with the movie about alien... pieces of metal or whatever the fuck.
Oh, and DESTINY was whipped into shape by the SRW team, though they might yet fix 00S2 too.
It's me. The situation has gotten serious. Part-Timer's secret is pretty much obvious now, and she clearly holds dislike for Christina. Hacking into the SERN database, the finer horrifying details of their experiments come to light. Christina figures out the basic principles behind the bananas and the newly dubbed "D-Mail", and Shining Finger passive-aggressively makes her way to the lab to view and document the existence of the IBN 5100. Having learned the secret of their experiments, Okarin dubs her Lab member 005.
The organization is on the move, so I must end transmission for now. El Psy Congroo!

Actually I was thinking of something like that this morning, however it was more the high school age range of the protagonists. It's understandable why much of the anime out there features adolescents, that is what much of the target audience is. Fourteen to Sixteen year olds can emphasize with the high school aged characters. If only the anime makers didn't narrow themselves so much. A show can have an adult cast while still being accessible to a younger audience.
As an example I'll use Star Trek and its incarnations. These shows feature adult lead protagonists and are easily accessible by a wide range of audiences. That said, I'm willing to bet most whom watched Star Trek were introduced at a young age. I know I was. The fact there were no teenage leads never crossed my mind. The worlds and stories created in these shows is what captured my mind.
Sadly these these types of shows have been dying as of late. If only the industry was not driven by quick cash ins.
It's me again, there's been another incident, and I'm not sure how to explain it properly. I suppose the easiest way to explain would be this; the experiment was a success, but for some reason only I remember it. I've come to realize that I've changed the future so that the experiment never actually happened as far as my colleagues are. What horrifying power we've discovered! Why do only I remember? John Titor is asking me to become a messiah and change the future from becoming a dystopia. It's strange... this is what I've always wanted... right? I've boasted about changing this world's ruling structure, saving this world... but now I actually hold that power at my fingertips, and they tremble under its weight. Can I really do this?
Well, the part-timer girl confirmed I've no chips installed in me, so I can at least rest as far as that's concerned.
I've confirmed through a second experiment that I am indeed changing the past, and that only I remember it. Ruka overheard us and wants to send a D-Mail too. And my assistance is looking rather... defeated. I've complied with Rukako's request... something has definitely changed... but what? I've no idea. End transmission for now. El Psy Congroo!
Horizon is talking about not having a soul and then the flashback montage starts while touching music plays
was super effective. On of my favorite scenes all season. 2nd half wasn't as good, but still neat as a set up for season 2. Glad we're already finding out new villain groups with P.A. ODA and the Tres Espana warships.
What the heck? Reminds of that Welcome to NHK episode where the leads kept throwing up marketing bulletpoint upon bulletpoint. Haven't felt that way seen seeing one of the Ar Tonelico 3 designs.
Also, hyped for the Eva 3.0 and Final news (anything that helps fuel the theory that Rebuild is somehow tied plotwise to the original). If Paint in Windows 7 didn't use that stupid ribbon I would have already made a "can not redo" joke with the logo.
Also also, sorry I forgot to set transparencies in those Pendrum avvys but glad they found some use after all.

Come in immediately, this is urgent! I've discovered the divergence!
The INB 5100 is no longer in the lab! Which means in this timeline, I never found it!
"Butterfly Effect", what a truly horrifying risk of altering the past. And now I've found
Shining Finger
again, and to my surprise
the others remember her now. When Shining Finger sent a message to the past, she disappeared from the lab and everyone's memory, but sending that small pager message from Ruka changed it back!
What on earth is going on here? And now Feyris
is a super rich girl who owns Akiba and made it the culture of cute??
Oh... oh god. Why did I let her send that mail?? She's erased Otaku-Akiba! Otaku-Akiba has been completely erased from history! It's just a regular town now!! How horrific! And now Rukako IS a girl! I see Okarin takes the Metal Gear approach to confirming gender, go right for the crotch! XD
I intended to follow part-timer girl on her quest, however Christina has put me in an awkward position I don't wish to continue, so I've gone shopping with Mayushii. She's showing concern for me, and I appreciate it immensely. It puts me at ease. But she's reminded me of something from my childhood that bothers me. I got sick with a fever, and described the feeling to Mayushii. From what I described, it's the same feeling I have every time the world shifts lines.
Tell my parents... I loved them. After tonight's meal, I will die.
Christina told me about the lab in America, filled with stuffy egos, and how our lab is childish and fun. And she considers me a nakama now too. What is this feeling?
The lights have been turned back on! I must retreat! El Psy Congroo!
Got done with Bakemonogatari. Wow. What an anime. Is there any second of it where the characters aren't talking? Bring on Nisemonogatari!
Finishing up Toradora, then to finish up Shana season one (yeah, I'm still in season one).

Waaaay too much dialogue, the difference being that in the light novel the dialogue is actually fun to read. It doesn't translate well into an anime but it's not so bad.
We'll see if this title is actually true and they really can't redo Evangelion better than it was before. Well, I'm sure they could redo the ending 100 times at this point and make it worse every time!

It's more like, I was looking forward to a new ending and it still sucked. It's unlikely that Anno has ever had any idea how he wanted to end it, which is why there's always this flailing around at the end. I look forward to seeing how he trainwrecks Rebuild at the end.
