I'm kind of disappointed that animeGAF isn't taking part of real pic January. Though all of you would be no match for my handsomeness...ess, it would have been interesting to see the real face behind the :cajuns.
See, now you're making it awkward. What if I said Vox and cosmic was more handsome than you? Do we start playing Uno with Skype???

pretty sure everyone has seen me by now
its just better to weird people out with cute anthro characters

Cajunator is totally a penguin though

Christ was I bored just now. Found a bunch of Penguindrum images, decided they looked nice for avatars. Figured maybe someone here would want one. If not, whatever, only took like a half hour or so.

Indeed you are.

Great episode, the monster of the week was actually interesting this week. Show finally feels like it's hitting its real stride with the cast coming together. Rei is the best.
The team combo attack by Usagi + Rei was pretty sweet.
Hopefully the series has a lot more of that rather than the ISO offense all the time as if Usagi was Melo and Rei was STAT.

Its funny how Me and Rorounizel are thinking in the same exactly way. Dude, you are like my long lost twin.... or something.

and yes, I have also avoided Steins;Gate because of everyone was talking about it. I have heard amazing thing about it and I have yet to watch it. I think at this point, I'll just wait for the localisation. If not, then I am going to pick it up on the easter. I really wich I had more time :(

I decided to final watch Evangelion. Where should I start? I watched the first five episodes but never saw the rest of the series. How do all these other 2.2, 1.1 and other releases fit in?

Just watch the TV series then End of Evangelion.

... and watch 1.11 and 2.22 after EoE, I strongly recommend against that though.

They are remakes. Just watch the original series, and then if you wish to watch the other stuff go from there.

As others have said you should start with Eva the TV series, but unlike the others I say that going into Rebuild is a must, honestly while I do agree you need Eva TV to really get Rebuild overall Rebuild is better and more enjoyable.

I guess you should watch End of Eva, but unlike others here I didn't think it was that good honestly.

Damn, it's hard to argue against the almighty Shinbo.
The creative forces behind these shows need to start crippling more of their characters.
It's better that they be intentionally crippled from the beginning than crippled by shitty writing.

Sorry, but that is just how I feel.

The pacing is so much better, and Shinji is so much more enjoyable. He still has his issues but the reduced time makes it suddenly go from me wanting to stab the little bastard to shut him up to actually enjoying him as a character.

Not only that but the choice to focus on Rei and a new character and sacrifice giving Asuka so much screen time was a ballsy choice but something I respect and actually ended up enjoying.

I think you're on to something here. In fact, you could do this for all anime. :O

So I finished watching Rehxaphone, I thought it was nice, the robots moved well and I thought Rei Asuka was a great character.

Take two Rehxaphone daily!

If you experience side effects while taking Rexhaphone(tm), I suggest you ask your doctor about Examd(tm), the new drug in the same class with 17% fewer side effects. Warning: there's a new side effect where your heart suddenly stops and you drop dead. But don't let that stop you from trying Examd(tm) today!

What's your guys' opinion on Level E? This OP is an awesome throwback, and the premise seems novel enough.
