Cool. I might just wear suspenders/tie anyway because I like them, but we'll work out the details when it gets closer.

Tie-GAF unite at E3!

I don't mind dressing up for a day.
West Side Story reenactment incoming.

Nah, reminds me I need to look for one during this break...
Does anyone have a fairway near them? I'm thinking of maybe working there ;o
I found one near me not too long ago. I live in queens and it's a 15 minute drive, right off the LIE. Will go there often to pick up these bad boys:

I will have my own tiny booth at E3 one day. I will be showcasing a Medabots game I've broughten over from Japan (don't ask how, just believe). It will be the only time I show up at E3 as I learn the terrible truth as to why no one localizes those games.

Believe.

I need to do the GAF meetup at E3. I've ran into GAF members and talked a bit, but never attended the meetup. I'm usually busy, but I need to learn to make time for that.

Will be my first E3, so I'm excited. I'll be doing two GAF meet ups this year, E3 is one and Lollapalooza/Chicago is another.

I missed lolla last year after a four year streak, but am hoping to get back into it this time around. I wasn't aware of a GAF meet up for it.

Damn this thread moves fast.
That might have looked strange. Welcome to RP gaf. ^_^
Indeed, and thanks. :)

You guys going to E3 are lucky. I wish I could get in. :(
All we've got out here as far as videogame-related conventions is NYC Comic Con and, from what I've been told, it's not that good at all.

Lolla-GAF meet?

I'd be down.

LOLLA-GAF. Not Loli-Gaf, you guys stay over there. Where ever that may be.

Well, last year I met up with Sai-Kun at Lolla and we rolled all 3 days. This year, because of Tinychat GAF, we're doing a meet up in Chicago. Some of us will do Lolla.

I'll come out of pity. Plus I want to go to E3 anyway. I'll wear different outfits so it looks like more people are interested.

Well there's also PAX East in Boston if you have the time and money to spare plus a car.

Having worked at NYCC last year (first time attending too), I can tell you it's good, but it's just ridiculously packed and chaotic; particularly the Capcom booth because of UMVC3 and Street Fighter X Tekken. I have a ton of stories from working that weekend. The main thing that I can tell you is that it was a pain in the ass to make my through the show floor. If you don't want to pay (like me) then you could volunteer; it was a pretty good experience. Hopefully, this year's NYCC will be a lot more organized.

Oh and believe it or not guys, 4 day passes go on sale as of tomorrow at noon (I imagine eastern time) on the NYCC site.

I think I might plan to go to the next NYCC. My friend was really down that she couldn't go so I might take her ;p Are there gaf meetups there?hahah

I think Atlanta's one of the only major cities snubbed on stuff like this.

I blame Georgia's tourism board for getting uppity whenever an organization demands something.

Isn't PAX the same deal, though? Ridiculously packed, I mean. I don't think I can retain my sanity being in a crowd of Bostonians for that long.

NYCC doesn't sound too bad, though. The main complaints I heard from friends were that it was very crowded and that it stunk in there. lol

I'm sure there will be a group, if there isn't one already. These kinds of events are pretty much the only thing NYC GAF meets up for anyways.
