Blaackmon was all "fuck it I'm out!"

I can appreciate the realness of the answer in a world where the PC thing is to say they are going to go home and go over their options.

He will be a high pick with the years that AJ green and Julio Jones had... We don't need him in KC but he can help a lot of teams. like the Bears and Miami.

what happened in that game? I don't remember anymore.

An ESPN classic.

After a turnover on downs on a must-score final drive for Northwestern on a 4th down at the Michigan endzone, a Michigan RB fumbles the ball in last 50 seconds of the game. A Northwestern player didn't touch him.

Absolutely bizarre to this day.

An ideal coach puts his players in position to win. Stanford's coach did the opposite of that. I can't even imagine how mad I'd be if I was a Stanford fan. I'd be demanding his head on a platter.

if the kicker had made one more make-able FG, nobody would be questioning him. But yea, he should have opened that playbook on 1st and 2nd down in OT. very surprised.

I'd be questioning. Completely stupid when you have three timeouts, Andrew Luck, and a freshman kicker. Unless it's an extra-point field goal you never do that.

I'd probably remember it if I watched the game. I have to see that. Sounds vaguely familiar. Crazy Big Ten football. Gotta love it.

anyway, it is officially the 3rd in my timezone...so GO BLUE!!!!!

Most Stanford fans don't care in the end though as most of the student body pride academics over athletics.

Google is basically Stanford alum.

I hope he makes another coaching blunder next season when he plays the San Jose State Spartans.

2nd year coach + new starting QB + new starting RB.

West Coast Spartans have a shot!

Its like announcers jinked LSU and Luck. Basically said Luck should have got the Heisman and soon then after oops...all downhill.

They can suck on Luck's dick all they want, but I'm getting warm and fuzzy thinking about RG3 with a decent defense. I'll take Robert every time.

I'm really hoping the Browns take some of their draft picks and trade up to secure Blackmon and RG3. Browns have a top 10 defense as it is. Any assemblage of offensive talent and the wins will begin to pour in. Does anyone in the NCAA have RG3's deep touch?

brah, Colt McCoy is the answer.

Yes.

Derek Carr at Fresno State. He's my favorite collegiate QB. He'll be a junior next year.

KC doesn't need him.. LMFAO....

The talking heads preordained that Luck would win the Heisman for the first 10 weeks of the season and all of the preseason. If they jinxed him, it was a long time coming.

as soon as I saw him, I thought of the movie Necessary Roughness.

Whatever. Shaw will be looking for a new job in 2 years.

Where was Gondo for all of this...was he at the game?

Yep, I'm on the bus back to the hotel.

Prettay, prettay good game there. :-D

12-1, 2011-12 Retroactive National Champs (after the entire SEC is inevitably busted for recruiting violations)!

I'll post pics tomorrow, that was an absolute blast.

LOL, that Pedobear stunt at the Houston game today was courtesy of ShaggyBevo:

This was a golden reply from the guy who wore the pedobear costume from in the shaggy bevo thread

FYI, if you google "Ticket City Bowl Pedo Bear" there are quite a few threads that show up on other forums of people talking about this thread. Might want to watch your ass LL.

I'm older than 14, so I don't think Penn State fans have much interest in doing anything to my ass.

The game was tons of fun and the Wisconsin fans I met were great.

And comments from bitter haters like yourself continue to make my night even better. :)

Oregon fans continue to be clueless about the world of college football. I guess when you buy your way into relevancy you don't learn these things the right way. I'd say maybe some day you'll learn but since you're bound to go back to nothing in a few years you probably won't get the chance.

:/

Does Dantonio always look like he's super pissed/constipated? It seemed to even be after MSU made a good play.

I believe its a requirement to be a Big 10 coach to always looked pissed. You get docked CIC money for every emotion you express outside of anger.

EDIT: Also, the Big 12 is guaranteed to have a better bowl record then the SEC this year.

I am terrified every time I see him smile. Doesn't happen very often, though. He usually only smiles after something crazy happens (fake punt/FG, Hail mary, winning a bowl game).

He did smile at the end of the game, but that was the first time. The rest of it he looked like someone shot his dog. Good game BTW, hard for me to be upset with the way it ended when it was that close. If it went to 3rd OT again, the results would have probably been different as it seemed it was about 50/50 who would win. Crazy to think that the FG miss to win the game for MSU was because our kicker hit it off one of his own linemen.

Props to Boykin for turning in one of the most dominant performances I've ever seen in CFB. Sucks that we didnt't get the W to go along with that.

"It's not an easy feeling," Sharp said. "Everything comes down to you. You are the last one. It's on the line. And people can look at any plays throughout the game. But most of the time when a situation like that happens, they don't look at those plays. They look at it as the kicker messed up or the kicker did this. It was his fault."

Except in this game, where it was the Coach's fault. This was a Shotty-level screwup.

Larry Scott said:
Scott said it’s "great" for the conference that USC will be back in the postseason mix starting next season.

Scott addressed that topic and some other Trojans-related matters, including the return of quarterback Matt Barkley, before this year’s Rose Bowl game. Here’s what Scott had to say:

(on whether he’s glad to have USC bowl eligible again)

"Absolutely. USC is an iconic program, the predominant program of the last 10 years. … I suspect they’ll be one of the top-ranked teams at the beginning of the season. It’s great for our conference."

(on the domino effect of USC not being eligible the past two years)
"We’ve been one team down in terms of fulfilling our bowl obligations the last couple years. All of our bowl partners are really happy, I can assure you of that."

F U Larry.
