I love it all though. I love those 40 minute technical showcases, I love those absurd angles featuring tire changing, I love promos, I love silly matches, I love bad theme songs that get stuck in your head.

Not ALL examples of those above things, of course, but I wouldn't have any of those things removed from the business.

Agreed. This is what the WWE has been missing the entire time I started watching. I'm loving it.

And sorry for getting mad earlier Spider, I didn't mean it, just got caught up in it.

There was like..15 minutes of wrestling. Tops.

This isn't a wrestling show only, it's entertainment with story lines, promos, crazy moments, and so on. All of those parts are just as important as wrestling. This is how WWE/WWF has been for so long now, since the late 90s. Goodnight fellas.

Raw was like a car wreck tonight. I kept rubbernecking and cringing at what I saw. For those of you that think this is one of the best Raw's since the Attitude era, it's amazing how a subpar product lowers your standards

Judging by your avatar, you have no standards.

So, is anyone going to explain why no one ever helps out Ryder and Cena when Kane is trying to drag them into Rape Pits or trying to murder them in public?

It's because no one else "exists" because this whole storyline is an allegory of Adam and Eve. Eve is played by Eve, Ryder plays Adam, Kane plays the devil/snake, and Cena plays God. It all makes perfect sense.

So Cena is going to punish Ryder and Eve for being raped by a pudgy bald man?

I'm not sure you remember the Attitude Era that well.

It had much better booking, for sure, and much better commentary and handling of feud, but it was no less goofy.

Hell, it was MORE goofy.

Yep, on the night after the ppv where those matches just happened no less. Hopefully Flair smartened up and re-signed with WWE today with the announcement of the 4 Horsemen going into the HOF.

"Goofy" isn't the problem.

So besides worse booking, worse commentary, a worse roster, and less wrestling, today's shows arn't that bad when compared to the Attitude era huh?

Some people on here seem to love anything new or different because they are desperately looking for something to make the show more enjoyable. Different does not necessarily equal good. Zach Ryder is the perfect example. He got over because he did a great job with the web show. Turns out however that he sucks on the mic when he's not saying "Woo Woo Woo" and he's average to below average in the ring. All that matters is that he's not Cena or Orton because they have been shoved down everyone's throats.

Mainly based on me being able to actually remember some of the things Mongo has done. Being on commentary, having Debra and the briefcase, the matches with Kevin Greene, the Goldberg match. Not saying he wasn't bad. He definitely was. But at least I remember him. I can't remember anything about the career of Paul Roma the top of my head other than that was in a bunch of horrendous tag teams like the Young Stallions and Power & Glory. I can't remember a single match or anything he ever did or said. And if you watch the Horsemen DVD all the true Horsemen agree that Paul Roma was the worst Horsemen ever.
