What was the the worst any of you took a loss?

I cried after the Broncos beat the Packers in Super Bowl XXXII. Granted, I was nine at the time, but still.

A little recently was when we were ousted by Arizona a couple years ago. I was working that night but keeping up on the game on my phone, and right as we were closing up shop we were held up at gunpoint. When I finally got home and saw that the Packers lost, and the way that it happened, I got so insanely drunk that I was sick the next three days.

I don't see how anyone can hate Peyton Manning for basically fighting the good fight against New England all these years.

the way he smugly threw his linemen under the bus after that loss to Pittsburgh in the playoffs still irks me.

Man. This thread got good while I was at the grocery store stock piling for what will likely be me missing at least 1 playoff game. Family couldn't visit at a worse time. Better be up for some football.

You guys seriously still find those kind of movies funny?

I have taste but I can appreciate well-dome shlock or lower-brow humor.

And the American Pie movies will always be tied to: 1) Michigan and 2) My childhood so I'll always have an appreciation for them, sequelization and rehashed storylines be damned.

Also, Alyson Hannigan.

Meh. The women in those movies are forgettable. Not a fan of plastic boobs. I like the idea of her character - the pervy band girl because I knew those types, but don't really care for her in general.

Only one I felt any attraction to was Tara Reid because she reminded me of an obscenely hot girl I sat next to in Spanish class but that's about it.

Anything after the first movie is not worth your time. The first movie is great because you get to see The Rookie of the Year eat out a girl who ruins her career five seconds after the movie finishes shooting.

HOLY CRAP.

It's the same kid!

Full disclosure: I think Superbad is hilarious so I can't judge too hard.

Saying someone with an Alison Brie avatar has bad taste in women, not enough :jncs for that.

I live in the middle of nowhere Indiana and trip over women who are more attractive that Alison Brie. She's cute, don't get me wrong. You don't have to be some creepy stalker though, go down to the grocery store, plenty of women just as cute.

No doubt. I'm batting 1.000 in the "Redhead=Freak" category.
It's true. We come born that way.

More attractive? Maybe.

Have her GED? Doubtful.

What about her? Shannon Elizabeth!

After seeing Shannon Elizabeth's character, I would have flown to eastern Europe that night if I had any money. I wasn't even thinking, I believed she was European.

I guess I'm behind on the topic as we're talking about movies and actresses now, but...

I'm stoic while watching football. I enjoy my house and electronic devices too much to damage, and I don't have a vehicle that I can afford to sacrifice in a rage drive.

When I get a chance to watch a game on the big screen at my house, I'm reclined, emotionless, and silent.

It appears I'm not a true fan.

Not too much different from me. I never rage out on anything or anyone for that matter. Before GAF though, I use to change the TVs I watched the game on if the game wasn't going well. From the living room, to the bedroom, to the kitchen, wherever. Now, instead of pacing, I pick one and then post on GAF if I can. I'm not very animated during a game either, though that 05 playoff game against the Colts did a number on me. I screamed at that ref overturning Troy's INT, cheered when I thought they had it won and then almost fainted when Bettis fumbled and then went back to pure joy when the idiot kicker missed the FG. That was, for me, the most up and down and craziest Steeler game I've ever "sat" through.

I've punched furniture/walls and cried myself to sleep after the Bucs NFCG loss, Pats in SB loss, and Cards in NFCCG losses.

Indiana is full of dumb beautiful women.

Interesting to see Gruden sticking in Cincinnati. That's a huge win for them, though I'm guessing the tales of loyalty to the organization are a little overblown. More likely he didn't want to compete with Chud for "hot new offensive guru" hire.

I think he probably felt some loyalty to the team to not skip out after just one year. I think it would be kind of crappy if Chud did that to Scam. But it underlines the problem of having a defensive minded head coach. If your offense has any success, people will poach your OC since everyone is trying to develop QBs

It's why I won't be too upset if the Rams miss out on Fisher, so long as they hire an offensive minded guy

And no loss compares to the Oilers melting down against Buffalo. That day was the first time in my life I listened to talk radio. Like catharsis for everyone's shared grief. School was weird for like a week. Everyone was just listless. Defining moment of my sports fan life. Eternally pessimistic

I was out of town for a sales conference at the time. All weekend all the guys up there were talking about was the game, and one of the Sales guys was crowing at me telling me the Colts were gonna steamroll everyone. I told him I was a Steelers fan and everyone laughed. "Colts will slaughter them!" Heh.

I got home right before the fumble. I thought I was gonna die.

After the whole thing was over I read a story about some Steelers fan who was so shocked at the fumble he had a heart attack. He was okay in the end though.

I used to rage drive/walk/fly. After the Badger hockey team lost in the finals in Detroit, I left Ford Field, got in my truck, and ended up in Arizona. My wife was not amused. After the Packers lost to the Giants last time I was furious and think I flew to Denver or Vegas or something. I don't do that anymore.

Last bad loss was the Brewers - Cardinals in the playoffs. Killing and gutting that elk really helped.

My wife knows better than to talk to me after any losses. Brewers loss in May? Wait for me to engage. Packers loss in the playoffs? Go to parents for a bit. I can be unpleasant.
lol. Brewers losses in May are always tough.

I remember reading this online years ago and it's still so perfect:
Awesome.

I'm pretty much the same. I watch the game and try to see what's really going on, who is playing well, and all that.

If a game is going really poorly I might just start shredding whoever the commentator is (anytime they make a mistake), but if it's Buck and Aikman that's common anyways.

A few years ago my family and I would go to separate rooms for the final drive, we couldn't stand each other by the end of a close game. Last second field goals were always tough.
