yeah the taurus and fusion are both great choices.
Its sounds like you'd be happier with a new model F150 though.
The mustang is nice but i dont think it would be worth the extra costs involved.

Needing better gas mileage so I have pretty much ruled out a new F150. Im ready for a car

If you are going to completely give up on driving a fun car, you may as well get a hybrid, assuming you drive enough to make it make sense.
Pretty much. If it's a heavy commute and a more family oriented car is needed, I'd be saving the money on gas.

The Mustang can be a luxury purchase down the line.:)

It's function over form for me so I say go with the practical, lowest cost option; especially if it's your commute car. I drive a Camaro because I bought it when I still cared about showing off, but over time I've come to hate it because of how unpractical and inconvenient it is. I cannot wait to get rid of it and buy something with better fuel efficiency and more space. Also, as Deacon mentioned above you draw the attention of police more when you drive a sports car; which is doubly bad because you already pay more in insurance by virtue of the fact that your car is powerful and fast.

The fusion is fun for a sedan.
A hybrid would make sense if he commutes a lot, which is all that you can do in Houston.
I only have to drive about 4 miles to get to work so a lower mileage v6 is fine for me.
And no, im not walking to work in louisiana summer. I would dehydrate before i got out of my subdivision.

I have a wife and two kids. I have driven a 2000 F150 for the past 10 years and I do a lot of commuting weekly for work. Ive just ALWAYS wanted a Mustang since I was 14.

Though the 2012 Taurus is VERY nice especially the Taurus SHO.

So there's your answer.

Don't fucking pussy out with the V6.

Why?

I believe them, I just don't respect it. If Sanchez is truly slacking off in practice and not working hard, I'd be fine with a respected veteran addressing that in public. But behind the curtain sniping just looks weak to me. I've never gotten the impression Sanchez was a hard worker or a leader.

I remember when Lions fans were moaning about wanting Sanchize instead of Fatford.

What if the quotes are from Holmes or Plax?

I don't give a shit about Sanchez, the lazy stuff may or may not be true, but working hard wouldn't improve most for his issues. Shit deep ball, doesn't process information quickly enough, doesn't anticipate throws/windows.

Hard work isn't going to fix that shit. Everyone bashes Tebows throwing ability, rightfully so, but does anyone work harder than that fucker?

Get that new 5.0L Mustang. I've got a buddy who has one and it's pretty sweet.

Generally I think the Hyundai Genesis Coupe and the 370z look better but if you like muscle, that's probably the way to go.

Don't know how I feel about this but the Colts have named their new GM:

Not that I hold the Eagles FO in high regard, but he seems like to be the only one who actually played football and had scouting experience. Now they are left with the LAWYER and ATTORNEY masquerading around as President and GM heading the FO. HOORAY!

Next the rumor is that Marty Mornhinweg, current Eagles OC, will be give his 2nd chance finally and hired as Head Coach. I have no ill will towards him though he ran the exact same offense we ran before when Reid used to call the plays so I don't know how much he contributed. He certainly didn't change anything up since he also called the same pass pass pass offense. Good luck to him if he does get the job. He inherits either Manning or Luck.
I would like Marty M as a OC, but not as an HC.

FYI according to an ESPN survey, Tebow is the most popular athlete in the country and 58% more popular than Aaron Rodgers.

Honda Insight

Well there you go. It's basically an upside down beach bucket on wheels death trap. The Fusion looks like it's almost getting there for people to really buy in, but it comes down to price.

I'll consider the plugin Fusion for my next purchase, but I bet it's over $40K.

I have a 30 mile commute to work and I'm so glad I got a hybrid. Thing is freaking slow, but only having to gas up bi-weekly instead of every 6 days is awesome.

Fun off season for Jets fans..

I went from having my own car, to sharing a car with my brother (both of us were on the title) to having no car.
Fuck cars.
I don't even have a DL anymore, let it expire.

Posting anything about QBR should result in an automatic ban. Permaban if the post is actually arguing its use as a legitimate metric.

I seem to remember you objecting to similar math tactics in the poli thread :o

Nfl top 10 pass rushers on nfln.
Aka a bunch of thugs who would set penalty records in today's nfl.

olinemen got away with dirtier shit back then too!

I remember (on film, I didn't watch it live!) Deacon Jones cracked a dudes helmet once with a chop to the head. The lineman retaliated by slightly unscrewing the screws on the side of his helmet the next time out. Cut up Jones' hand pretty badly, pretty sure he never came out of the game.

So, apparently it's down to Marty...and Childress.
With Marty being the favorite.
You know what must be done Glazers, don't fuck this up.
Not again.
You think ticket sales are bad now...

My dad deals in cars, so I have driven my fair share of sweet cars and personaly I think nothing is cooler then a musclecar. When I'm all grown up and stuff I want a ZR-1. Go batshit crazy or go home.

N
Do I go practical and get a Taurus/Fusion or go Mustang??
Instead of getting a Mustang or a truck how about you get a practical car?

The Focus is cheap and will get you from point A to point B. Nothing special. Kinda plasticy.
You'll get blown around by winds but as I said - practical and cheap.

Now I picture you as this:

That was the first real devastating loss I felt I was still in my teens but I remember thinking we were going to pull it off no way the Broncos could lose. Man it sucked. But as long as I never have to watch a Superbowl loss I'll be good. Thank god I wasn't alive during the cowboys/giants/redskins etc etc superbowls.

That afc championship was not fun. Superbowl games that end like those three are rough. I was expecting a loss going in against Pack inthe first one. That's what makes those Superbowls special in that we suffered and had zero expectation going in. Its the same reason why this season has been special in that we had zero expectations to win coming in.

Fucking Goodell and his crooked ass league.

EDIT: WTF gifsoup? This post looks whiny if it doesn't include the gif!

Pereira has no fucking shame. NONE.

Mike Pereira, the NFL's former Vice President of Officiating, was asked on Twitter whether Tebow's winning touchdown pass was an illegal formation.
"Watch on any Sunday. This is a good formation compared to many. They are not technical with this,"

Oh, THIS they are not technical with, which is cut and dry, but the "process" they are technical with.
