Liking cute but not having Usagi Drop on there is akin to liking sweets but hating sugar!
Also, mentioning Endless Eight on there warms firehawk's cold black heart, be careful.
I was hoping you would say no and save me the trouble or trying to think. I'm sure that redemption card will come in handy later down the line when I hate Utena.

Bodacious Space Pirates 03 DROPPED: Oh my fucking God this shit is BORING. It's like they are doing everything possible to make it anti-bodacious. It had T&A, but even that was lame. One of the lines in the episode was "deploying at minimum speed" for fuck's sake.
There are better ways to waste your life. Don't watch this turd.

Detective Conan 141:
Kazuha is mai waifu. I always love the cases where her and Heiji show up, and it's great to see Conan and Heiji working together on the case. I also love how Heiji calls Conan 'Kudo' aloud like 15 feet away from Ran and Kazuha and they don't even pay any attention to it.

I love Yamamura Koji and I've been very vocal in my love for La Maison en Petite Cubes. Speaking of which, I should probably make some sort of "short film" list.
If you plan to watch it ever, probably shouldn't be spoiling yourself with the sakuga videos. Many of those scenes are FAR more effective with the buildup.

I made that picture for a very specific type of thread: the 3x3 thread; I did nothing but repost it in this thread.
I too thought we could be allies but alas for you have revealed yourself to be my sworn enemey(evaangeltard), unfortunately I will show mercy in the great battle that has yet to pass.
by the I liked black lagoon s1 and roberta blood trail just not s2.

Yeah, Heiji's lackadaisical attitude about Conan's identity is a bigger threat to his secret than the black organization, haha. At least he's quick to turn it into a pun or a different word other than "Kudo" to cover himself.
. Anyway, only odd thing (space is gorgeous and Sea of the Morning Star), was no lines or anything to keep them attached to the Odette II. I wish they would hurry and show the Bentenmaru in the show. Decent episode, nonetheless. I guess they are trying to get everything dealing with school out the way.

Wouldn't it be nice to know the name of those 6 if you were interested in watching them, though? Since exposure is probably the most productive outcome of a list thread?
It would, I guess. That is my #1 complaint about Gaffers. they assume everybody knows every song, movie, quote, anime, video, meme and just post a picture.
I try to label whatever I am posting or at least give a good idea of what I'm talking about.
High melodrama, but this is still the show I like the most this season. I wasn't expecting
the bit with the heart transplant though, esp. since in classic anime fashion this results in Kakeru occasionally sporting the "Suguru" look. XD Also, the bit at the end with the soccer ball he kicked to stop the car from hitting the girl was total BS. Granted, I've learned to accept that kind of BS because of Detective Conan but still... total BS. XD

Kakeru's cry could have been enhanced, I can think of numerous other characters who cry better...Naruto for one.
I didnt think Suguru would die though. I thought paralysis or something else, but total death? No. Scene when mom dropped the plate was powerful, yet typical.
I wish they just avoid doing like they did at the end of when Kakeru kicked the ball, making him looking like a fusion of his brother was odd, and not really successful.
This is why I've complained about the show for the last two weeks - because I knew it could be better. More like this.
It can't be a coincidence that the first episode that actually feels like it's going somewhere also has the best direction and highest production values overall, right? Because this feels like the the first episode where they're actually putting some effort into making it (apart from the first part of the first episode).
The improvements ar notable, in nearly every category. It's actually quite close to the very best episodes of Bakemonogtari, rather than just 20 minutes of disjointed fanservice.
You'll probably be able to notice them right off the bat - there's actually pacing and tempo to Araragi and Kanbaru's conversation. You know, the visuals have purpose and rhythm to match intensity and content of the discussion? You might have forgotten what that was like.
Oh yes, the music, apparently they do remember how to match it to the visuals and underscore scenes effectively and set mood. This isn't normally the kind of thing I need to point out, because most of the time music matches visuals, but last weeks episode used music very poorly (so poorly that it detracted from my experience). Thankfully, this week, they're passed it back to the guy who knows how do it and they use the music to crate different moods for all the conversations - palpably different. Araragi's conversation with
Kaki was actually rather ominous thanks to that background track.
All the characters, in fact, have very different conversations that are all shot in very different manners - there's even a surprising amount of animation in this episode. SHAFT really went wild with this one! Although I think this reference is a little beyond them -
Oh, and for fans of eyeball shots I think weeks episode has more close-ups on eyes than any previous episode!
Still progressing slowly, but I'm not bored. Characters are enjoyable, and there were a couple really nice pieces of music in this ep, particularly the one that started in when they were space walking and saw the amazing view of space. The visual+the beginning of the music was pretty well done.
