The ending of the episode has me wanting so much more. Also, why did he try confessing to her in the first place? Did he think she liked him because of the forehead kissing thing?

Probably a caught up in the moment thing. The mood probably felt right after that kiss on the forehead or something. He did mention something about being suddenly overwhelmed with feelings he didn't realize he had.

If it got another season, shit would get so real. How the characters become later on is just too good to pass up, not to mention all the cool new people they introduce.

I just remain hopeful. However, even if they got a S2, I still doubt they would get enough budget to push it as hard as it needs to be pushed to be truly great.

Ah man. Now I'm all hopeful and stuff. ;_;

From what I understand, the BRS TV series is not a sequel like I originally thought. It is in fact an extended remake of the OVA instead. This means it will cover the same story the OVA did, but expand beyond that.

So yes, there will likely be a triangle, and there are also new characters in the TV series who serve to make the relationships between the characters more complicated.

This week's ep was pretty dull. Next week seems to introduce new characters so maybe the show'll start to pick up then.

I think you're jumping too quickly to assuming supernatural explanations for everything, like an actual witch killing people.

The only person who has died so far basically killed herself due to an accident.

Also, that death scene clearly reveals that they can see Misaki. She isn't a ghost, they're just attempting to ignore her, possibly due to her association with the city's legend. Now, there should be supernatural elements eventually, but I don't think they're extremely relevant at this point.

Karasawa has so much swag it's not even funny.

I don't know if it's because I'd already seen almost half this episode thanks to the preairs but it felt a bit weaker than previous ones. The segment after the credits, however, was simply amazing and it had dat Kobayashi to boot. Still the best new show this season.

Gonna have to wait for those uncensored BDs.

I just flicked on the subs to see if they'd interpreted it as I did when I was watching it and they said it was "none of them can see me, what if you're the only one who can see me?", but if you look at the verb she used, ok I'm probably wrong but I think she was more saying "I don't appear/show myself to them, what if we assume that I only appear/show myself to you?" I think this changes the meaning of the scene because just before she said she didn't exist.

What if she shows herself/appears to kouichi all the time, but even though people know of her presence, she doesn't actually appear for anyone else? That's why I think Yukari got so scared as she's never seen her before but knows the stories. That's why she would run off and trip like that as the fear got her

I'm liking the character chemistry. The core four really feel like they would be friends, rather than feeling arbitrarily thrown together for convenience.

I just finished watching Mononoke. That last arc was masterfully done. It kinda looked different than the previous episodes and the way they explained the Form, Truth and Reason was also different. But still, it was pretty great.

I think I will move on to Kuuchuu Buranko next. It's by the same director and I keep seeing it getting recommended here.
