Is HSG is confirmed 40 bucks too?

I wonder what the psn prices will be. I want HSG digital but i have it reserved at amazon so it's locked at 30. I'll keep that order if it ends up being the cheaper option.

i want to try this so bad, for some reason.

Wonder if Sony is bait and switch pricing. Jack up retail price to make the PSN version look better.

For example Wipeout is now $39.99 at retail so it can be $29.99 on PSN. Instead of being $29.99 at retail and $19.99 on PSN.

I've sent 4 questions asking what the PSN price will be. They don't want to answer that, i guess.

The lack of info about the psn stuff this soon to launch is disheartening.

They should say something soon. It's too close to launch already. I wonder if they will at that meeting next week.

Hmm... seems to be around the same price in NZ. all good.

Anyone know if destructor will be reutnring totally loved that mode.

aw it's out? laaame.
Apparently. They said there is Campaign, Multiplayer Campaign, Cross-Platform, and something else that I wrote off. I asked for details on the multiplayer campaign, but they didn't answer it =|
EDIT: Guess they did answer it :D

I can't imagine them not allowing you to make your own custom races..

haha they just ended the chat. i guess they don't have answers for us regarding psn or racebox.

but, at least we now know that ps3 racing wheels won't be compatible with wipeout 2048.

A serious question: How many of you expect the price of the Vita to drop this year? How much do you expect it to drop (let's try to be realistic)?

Love that the guy is answering a lot of questions. Still going around the PSN price though

His last two Vita posts were collectively shit upon, with good reason as they were promoting overpriced Ganeloft ports, by commenters. So I'd assume he's trying to ride the wave of positive comments that Lumines generates.

Looks like PDP finally updated their website with pictures of the Vita Pull and Go Folio case.

I wish they would sell just the pouch portion of that at a reduced price. As it is, this is what I'm eyballing so far:

maybe its the PSN price :)

Exactly what I was thinking.

I was planning to get HSG on DD, and that was IF I bought it so I'll still stick it out and see.

Other than that, this is what I'm getting:

Playstation Vita (Wifi)
16GB Memory Card
Uncharted: Golden Abyss ($39.99 with Reward Zone coupons)
Wipeout 2048
Hori Vita Case
Charging Cradle

Grand total $415 (minus tax)

I have the price of the Vita saved up already so I need to come up with another $165 dollars from here until then. It shouldn't be too bad since the price of the Vita won't affect my normal expenditures, hopefully I can get there. LOL

Still cannot decide about Wipeout 2048. It is still US$ 29 on Amazon. I really like racing games, but future hovering vehicles are not my thing. I believe the only game of this type I really enjoyed was Quantum Redshift.

Lol. Yeah, I've been balancing the old gaming budget, and passing up on some great deals on Amazon for games that I've been waiting on for ages.

It's not too bad for me, since my next two paychecks are including 2 extra days on each, so that's going to cover my Vita purchase and games/accessories easy.

It's the wait that's killing me.

I'm also going to try and not go too crazy buying PSP classics from PSN. I made a list of the PSN PSP titles I want, and it's a lot larger than I expected, even with some of the games not up on the store (like FFVII: Crisis Core). With all the games I've missed on PSP, I should be able to easily ride out Vita dry spells between big releases.

I'm also on the fence about Wipeout, as I'd like to buy it, but then, I'm tempted to just get AT&T's cheap 3G plan, and probably get Wipeout included, and since the 300MB 3G plan is $20 now, I'd be saving $10-$20 on Wipeout. I'll probably end up holding off, since I'll have a lot of games day one, and probably not nearly as much time to play them all anyway. I can probably wait on a few of the other games on my Vita month 1 wish list.

I put in my Preorder at Amazon and im getting

Playstation Vita (Wi-Fi)
Lumines: Electronic Symphony
8GB memory Stick

So ill be spending 319.97 which is good for me. Will also probably download Escape Plan on the PSN as well.

I am getting the following:

3G/Wifi Starter Bundle: $335
8 GB Memory Card: $27
WipEout 2048: $30

Total: $392

Not too bad. I won't end up using 3G functionality, but I want the system early, and a WiFi system, with Little Deviants, a 4GB card, and a case would be like $320 anyway, so I figured I might as well. I may end up using 3G eventually and will be glad I got it.

I also might get Super Stardust and Escape Plan on PSN, but does anybody know how much those are going to cost?
