What the shit is going on in anime?

It's like the people anime has needed all along are coming back to save it.

NOITAMINA IS BACK

Fafner 07:

Did Shoko's grave get paintballed or something? BECAUSE SHE DESERVES IT.

Fafner 08:

Master Chiefs, little shapeshifting naked boys, lots of stupid teenagers looking to prove themselves!
What does it all mean?!?

Fafner 09:

Koyo's parents shouldn't have
been banished from the island, they should have been THROWN IN THE OCEAN.

Fafner 10:

Comedy, angst, dinner with the Toumis,
surprise crystalization and SUDDEN BETRAYAL.
The show isn't even building up to plot twists now, it's just throwing them out there at random.

Also, Kazuki gives the worst excuse for
gouging out someone's eye
EVER.

What the fuck?

There were very few anime I was able to consistantly watch from beginnning to end on TV back in the 90's, infact I'd say the only anime I watched back in the 90's from beginning to end was DBZ.

Which turns out to be a blessing in disguise, when I discover how many shows were hacked to death when travelling overseas.

Much like Sailormoon and One Piece, it's a show that I've always had on my "come back to" list, Cardcaptors, Tenchi Muyo are other examples.

Holy fuck haha. Totally had a nostalgia trip by looking up shit about Ninja Robots. Old 80s anime that was dubbed and shown on Cartoon Network here in Dubai.

DAT DUBBED OP

I might just watch this show and write episode impressions for lulz. I watched this show as a kid but never sequentially so I had no idea what the hell was going on. Even back then though, the show seemed bad.

Recorder and Ransell 04: I'm all for this type of animated 4-koma thing, but you can't honestly expect to keep this show up by reusing the same jokes.

How much did the box set cost though? It's probably like 500 dollars or something.
248 dollars.

Holy shit, I just saw the youtube video of the kanno plagiarism thing.

Cyber bird sounds almost exactly the same. I still love her music, but my day has been ruined..

I didnt like Samurai champloo that much, or the Cowboy Bebop movie.
I did like the music in both quite a lot.
This has nothing to do with hnnng factor or anything.
Shinichiro Watanabe directing just doesnt mean a lot to me.

Truly, the age of man is over. We don't deserve to live anymore.

Shinichiro Watanabe directing just doesnt mean a lot to me.

He also directed the TV series which, from the way you phrased your comment, may be something you have not seen.

Alternatively, it might be the only thing he's directed which you like, which is why you haven't mentioned it.

Watanabe means nothing to me, especially when it's an adaptation of a boring looking Josei manga. Don't know why people are expecting Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo.
