I don't expect a reply all the time nor do I think that every text deserves one, but sometimes an "OK" or "Talk you later" or "I got it" is more than enough.
And I say this as someone who forgets about his phone as soon as he gets home.

Hey guys, I know thisnt a relationship question, but I value the opinions of some of you, and also I scared to make a new thread. I just need some quick input: Im upgrading from Blackberry phone and a new smartphone, but Im debating either an Iphone4S or LG Optimus 2X (Android). What has been your experience with these types of devices?

The only guideline I have is my friends who wont' shut the fuck up about how much they hate their Android phones, so, go the iPhone.
I would go with Android. I don't really like iOS.
After using an iPhone 4S and a Samsung Galaxy SII, can't really go back to iOS.
My current phone is a Galaxy SII (original, international version) and I love it. Highly recommended!

I actually don't think I'm afraid of doing that now. I'm becoming more comfortable although when we are kissing at work I'm always looking over my shoulder to make sure we don't get caught lol.

My hand would probably get all sweaty, and then I'd feel so distracted because I'd be thinking about my sweaty hand and how gross that is. I'd end up missing part of the movie.

iPhone is you want ease of use and hipster status along with a ton of apps.
Android if you want Linux tinkering and don't mind having as many apps.
I've tried Android phones and personally prefer them due to the options in photo uploading and other stuff. But iPhone has a more consistent "feel" that is traditional Apple "it just works."

Cool! I'd like somewhere I can stagger home drunk after a night out. I consider it a prime factor in my choice of location

I have the G2x which is the same as the Optimus. Though I love Android I hate this phone! It restarts on it's own and it freezes for no good reason. I would go with the iphone or the Galaxy Nexus.
Well I used to think the same until I got a crazy week at work and it took me a couple of days to reply to a txt. When you're very focused/stressed on what you're doing, replying to a txt is the furthest from your mind. Moreso if you wanna make plans with that person and thus have to think about a day you're free.

A little back story on my friend. Met him on new years and he already is one of my best buds. Sweet, loyal, slight hero complex. And straight lol. First time we went out he actually took me to a gay bar with another friend and we ended up dancing with a drag queen on stage. A class act he is
So anyways, I signed up for Grindr for the first time a little more than a week ago and immediately got a response from a guy. A good deal older than me but at the same time had that high school football coach vibe that made me all the more interested. We end up talking for a couple of hours and he ends up asking me to come over to his place. At this time i'm over at my buddy's playing pool.
Now, i've never done the whole online hookup thing before this and on top of that i'm not used to someone being so flirtatious with me. So at this point i'm a little paranoid and I start talking about it with my friend. With any hesitation whatsover he tells me to go and that its always good to try new things as long as i'm careful.
"But, i'm giving you a 20 minute headstart. After that i'll be right behind you, and if something goes wrong just call me and i'll be there in 30 seconds with my .45 ready."
So I went, and my ginger guardian angel sat vigilant in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot. I ended up having a really good time with the guy everything went smoothly.
When I look back at it I really can't think of anybody else that would've done the same thing for me barring my brother. Needless to say I've bought the last couple of packs of beer whenever I go over to my friends house. Which all have been use for strip pool/beer pong

I'm not sure having feelings for a woman doesn't make you gay.
Having feelings for someone does not equal the attraction for the body.
I have a female friend who's straight and always was, and suddenly she found herslef inlove with a woman. She told me a lot of times that she doesn't consider herself a lesbian since she's still attracted to men, and she isn't is this relationship because of her girlfriend's body or the sex - she's with here because she's just an amazing person and loves her.
My opinion anyway...

Seriously, a friend texted me this morning and I haven't noticed the message icon until few hours later. And I had the phone in my pocket or beside me all the time, I used the phone several times in the meantime and even read few articles on it on my way home. Yet I still managed to miss it.

How can you be sure that you're a 100% gay and will never want to be in a relationship with a women? My parent's friend, when she divorced her husband after 25+ years of marriage, ended up being in a relationship with her female friend she was staying at at the time. It was a shock for her (for everyone else too) because she never even though about being in a homosexual relationship (especially at the age of ~50).
I never expect a response in five minutes (or even five hours), but if I send several texts over several days and don't get a response to any of them, I'll give up. It's just not worth my time.
Unfortunately it's not that simple. The big issue is if and when I should tell I've only been with men before.

Well yes, but to be fair the whole thing unfolded over only 2 days... The first one I sent that wasn't replied to was on Wednesday morning and he replied on Thursday night. I'm not expecting much but I've had such a great time each time we met that I'm curious enough to keep at it.
Ok, from what I think you wrote in this thread previously and as I see it there are two possibilities:
1) You might not be 100% gay and it's totally possible for you to fall for a girl and have a romantic relationship with her, emotionally and physically.
2) She's showing interest in you, something that has not happened to you in a while and thus your attraction to her stems from the fact that you might be feeling lonely and in need of affection. That just means that you might be mistaking strong friendship with romantic feelings.
I don't mean to be mean but I think it's something worth considering, having myself been in the second situation once when I was a baby gay.
