The PlayStation Vita In 2011-2012

im not getting any games because im only interested in uncharted but it runs at sub native res and is plagued with aliasing. call me a graphics whore all you want. uncharted games are about graphics. they arent actually fun. an uncharted game with bad graphics is nothing.

While it is true that the three Uncharted games have had a big focus on the graphics, it has also have a big focus on the story and gameplay as well. What i enjoy most about the Uncharted games is actually the stories in the game (i enjoy the gameplay and graphics as well). That is actually what i'm looking most forward to in Golden Abyss, to see how the story goes.

Have you played the game? I just played the demo and seriously, get over it, game looks great.
 
Is there no words on a 32GB card coming to Europe? I'm a bit torn if i should get a 4GB card at launch and import a 32GB card from the US, or just get a 16GB card at launch and hope that i can manage with that.
 
ive settled for the 16gb card. What i would like to know though is, im getting the 3g version does the psn voucher come in the box or does it only happen if you sign up to a data plan from vodafone?

I seriously just called like 10 Gamestops around me to see if they have it, but it's no good, however; most of them said they'll have one by the end of this month. So next week I'll get to feast my eyes on my most hyped and followed console ever!

How did the physical hardware feel?

i was surprised at how small the buttons were but it wasnt a turn off or anything, i kinda wish there were more resistance with the sticks but i probably will just have to get used to it. Build quality was top notch. I couldnt believe how good gravity, fifa and golden abyss looked, they had wipeout too but i didnt have time to check it out

Is there any word on how good the launch games are? I'm slightly interested in Uncharted, but it looks a lot like the first game. How does it compare to 2 and 3?
 
Finally got it working - downloading Unit 13, Little Deviants and Modnation - played a little wipeout as well. What a machine this thing is!
 
Just got a Vita. Anyone know a way to get it to charge via USB on a Mac? I know it's not supported but when I plugged it in the first time, it charged. I tried again just recently and it won't charge. What gives?

Was rumoured that we should expect it by early March, but nothing official I don't think.

Have you set it to USB mode? It is somewhere in the Vita settings.

Ah ok, cool. I'll guess that i get the 16GB card first and maybe upgrade later on if i see the need for it =)

it's definitely coming soon. in the january qore episode, the douchebro explaining everything about the vita said it would connect to your mac or pc. he never mentioned about macs not working initially. that either means it'll be ready for launch or at least soon enough that it's not worth mentioning it will be late.

First time I got it to charge, I saw it give out a squiggly green line indicating it was charging, now I see nothing but a green bar filled halfway.
 
My local got there machine lucky bugger who downloads can download them to there own psn am I right are all the games full that's what I wanted to know as if so lucky buggers hahaha I'm gonna check out the games tomorrow not long to go now....if there full games anybody want to give me a heads up on the trophy lists.

I'm really not - we have copies of Unit 13, Wipeout, Little Deviants, Modnation Racers, Reality Fighters, Everybody's Golf and Reality Fighters. The only downside is we have 3 copies of Unit 13 - one in Russian and one in Spanish, and 2 copies of Uncharted - neither in English :p

so does game employees have like a special server access where they can download the games , i ask because a lot of jap vita owners have tried accessing psn on their western account and they couldnt

We were given a code to put into PSN on our PS3s (I'm the only one in store with a PS3.... yeah I know... 1/7 staff with a PS3) - then we can download the Vita games onto the PS3 and transfer them back onto the Vita itself.
