Nerlens Noel has moved up to the 2012 high school class and will now be eligible for the 2013 draft. He's the best center prospect in the last several years and has been compared to Bill Russell.

Too bad about only being 6'10" though. He won't be legit unless he can cross into 7-footer territory. How often do guys who're already that huge grow another couple of inches after high school?

He can rebound well for his position, but doesn't have many other basketball skills. Hes very boring tbh; he doesn't make many unconventional/incredible plays -- the anti-Manu. Thats not a great criticism I suppose but I think the lack of creativity makes me doubtful that he will ever amount to much at all.
Splitter is a much better story, but there are other things about this season that are underwhelming, like Dejuan's lackluster season, or our hole at the backup PG spot, that more than offset any positives.
Its tough for me to get excited for our young core when its plainly obvious that none of them sans Dejuan are actually very good or promising; they are role-players who are getting propped up by Pop...its a grim future imo.

This has happened a few times this season. Rockets play well for a period, then let a team ABSOLUTELY shit on them for an entire quarter. Fucking awful. Its like they forget the taste of what its like to shoot a shot AND people get lost on defense.
Then there is K-mart's awful defense. Just take him out when he plays like that. Just play Lee. I think thats the best solution. I'd rather have 60-70% of Martin's offense with a good defense than what Martin offers now. Ugh.
