Its bullshit that you can't get all the games on league pass.

Thats my biggest gripe with it.

Yup.

Is the game on NBATV? Can't watch it on League Pass.

Is the game on TNT? Can't watch it on League Pass.

Is the game on ABC? Can't watch it on League Pass.

Is the game on ESPN? Can't watch it on League Pass.

Is one of the teams local to you? Can't watch it on League Pass.

In other words, I hope you like shameball teams.

and when its not this its a god damn black out. Why the fuck is it blacked out if it costs so much

I usually don't do this sort of thing, but...

The worst winning percentage of all time was .123 of the infamous 9-73 Sizers squad. Bobcats would eclipse this mark if they go 7-59 at .118

They have a very realistic chance of earning their own * this season.

Jeffrey still breakin records

DJ will probably come back and put up a few monster games at the end of the year to increase his market value and that will get them to 10 wins or so.

Now if they trade DJ, maybe no wins for the rest of the year.

This same team with DJ almost beat Miami (probably lost on purpose... never seen DJ do anything like that late in a game) and actually convincingly beat NY and GS - other simply 'bad' teams. DJ went down, and we immediately got blown out by the Nets and Pistons.

The Raptors' slogan this season is "pound the rock."

I wish I was making that up.

Dallas is a thorn in OKC's side. Dirk has completely shit the bed this season and they were playing without Haywood/Kidd/Odom and the game was still that close?

I'm still heartbroken.. Driving home from the Jazz game. That Flop will haunt my dreams.

Oh and the bandwagon clippers fans are pathetic and what's with people wearing lakers gear at a Jazz home game against the clippers? I guess it says Los Angela's on it. Herp.

http://espn.go.com/dallas/nba/story...blasts-officiating-loss-oklahoma-city-thunder

"Look, I haven't said a whole lot about the officiating in a long, long time, but I haven't seen it this bad in a long, long time," Cuban told ESPNDallas.com in the Mavericks' weight room after the loss. "Guys miss calls; that's part of the game. You're not always going to have a great crew. Officials have got to learn that's part of the game.

"But these were officials that have been part of the league for years, and it was just off-the-charts bad. And, if no one ever says anything, nothing ever happens."

...

"Those weren't even the worst calls," Cuban said, citing crunch-time no-calls on drives by Terry and point guard Rodrigue Beaubois among other plays in a game in which the Thunder had a 33-25 edge on free throws attempted.

...

"If no one ever says anything, nothing ever happens," Cuban said. "We turn in stuff not after every game, but we turn in stuff all the time and we get 'inconclusive; inconclusive; yeah, we missed this; yeah, we got it right.' That's all fine and good, but there's nobody reporting to us on accountability. And that needs to change.

"There's a lot of guys and teams that aren't having great starts to the season and there's a lot of crews that aren't having great starts to the season. The league needs to make some adjustments, because you can't have it like this all the time."

In this particular game, Cuban's issues weren't primarily with the calls that went the Thunder's way. He was upset that the Mavericks, who shot 35.7 percent from the floor, weren't awarded more trips to the free throw line despite being aggressive, especially late in the game. Cuban is also concerned about officiating inconsistency throughout the season.

"I mean, it's just ridiculous," Cuban said. "Something needs to be done; someone needs to stand up and say something. So here I is."

Cuban never winning a title again confirmed. He's 100% right though.

since the 3pt line was introduced - before this season there had only been 3 players to average 12ppg while shooting less than 37% for a season and to play more than 3 games that season - rex champman, starks, and dejaun wagner.

kemba is on his way to join some very rare company...... and not in a good way.

the only saving grace - he isnt the only one from this year to join that group. maggette, billups, jax and crawford are also on pace. although after tonight crawford will be off that list. he was just a hair under 37%.

I DRINK IT UP

Kemba is the next Starks!?

Expect a large free throw disparity when playing against OKC. Westbrook gets the same calls Durant gets which is ridiculous considering how great of a player Durant is.

Was shocked not to see Brandon Jennings or Baron Davis making that list, but Baron shot exactly 37% his first year with the Clippers and Jennings shot 37.1% his rookie season.

Has there ever been a superstar that flops as much Griffin?

The shit's getting really shameless and embarrassing to watch. Seeing the league reward him by actually swinging the games doesn't help either.

Being the resident subject matter expert on point guards - I want to say that Kemba isn't past the point of no return. He is, however, doomed unless he puts in the work over the offseason. The difference between Knight and Kemba is that Knight is still very, very young and never was in position to really, truly run a team. Kemba had 3 years. It still needs to be noted that he went from being inconsistent, to good, to overly relied on through his respective years in college - but its hard for a guy to come back from that. He's trying. He's trying too hard actually... you see it in the fact that he's so set on running the exact play that he forgets that he's playing basketball. He knows that what he started the season doing wasn't being a point guard, so he's done a complete 180 and refuses to look at the game with any creativity at all on the offensive end now in an attempt to "play the right way".

He wants to get better. But given the circumstances of the season, those kinds of adjustments are going to be impossible.

Its kind of ironic because Larry Brown would've been the perfect coach for him.

Happens to us all.

Remember we had Zombie Kobe last year after winning the chip?

I really wish he wouldn't go to London this summer.

I guess it's impossible for him not to go now. He's gonna get that key of Barcelona.

At this rate he's gonna turn back to zombie Kobe permanently by next season.

You saw what happened last time we put LeBron in charge of bringing back the Gold medals.

Well, I don't really give two shits about the Olympics. It's one medal in an event where they hand out half a dozen medals to a bunch of nicely dressed white dudes riding on horse backs.

They should have shoot-out medals. A horse competition, a three-point shooting competition, etc. No dunk contest because that would be rigged garbage.

Now he's being silly. Stern's gonna fine him half a million again.

He had the right idea when he donated money to Colbert's SuperPAC during the lockout so he can run a segment against Stern on his show. That's what he should do here.

He IS right though.

It's been sort of embarrassing so far this year, the refereeing.

Thats so sexist.

Dressage has just as many female competitors.

Exactly. That's still more legitimate than some of those Olympic events.

In terms of the tournament format, the World Championship is definitely better with 24 teams.

I'm saying instead of giving the money to Stern, he should give the money to Colbert and have him be the mouth piece.

So he should pioneer lobby groups into the NBA? is there anything you Americans don't want to corrupt with money!

Kemba is the next Starks!?

I can't unsee it after the comparison was made.

He should still be a shoe-in for the rookie game for hype alone. Hope he's healthy by then. He used to just shit on people off the dribble, now he spends all of his time begging for calls and wondering why all the other teams try so hard on defense.

did you just say Larry Brown would have been a good coach for a rookie? lol
He has the confidence and swag to go 4 for 19. Larry Brown would've loved that shit.

Kemba's enough of a chucking asshole for seniLB to love enough to not crush completely. He'd be like a son to LB not named Iverson.

it makes sense that you don't get all the games on league pass.

national games and games in your local zone are paid for by advertising. Their contracts specifically state only they can broadcast in those zones. If they didn't, then advertisers would pay less and then they would pay less to the NBA for the rights to broadcast, so you'd have to pay a lot more for LP. Then you have the cable companies (ESPN, TNT, and often local broadcast run on them) who have contracts not allowing the channels to allow their stuff to be broadcasted live by other means. I mean, if they did, then everyone would buy league pass and ditch cable (not everyone, but you get the point), even if the advertising was kept.

It sucks, I agree. I am waiting for that special day when I can buy the channels i want for $2 a month and then get league pass. ESPN, TNT, NBATV, NFLTV, and a few non-sports stuff + League pass. $20-25 a month + league pass. Would be awesome.

My one current beef with LP right now is you can't pick the announcing crew.

Also not sure why LP doesn't sell advertising for timeouts and halftime for games on LP. Could lower prices if they did that and sell more of them, I'd think.

That is a huge beef of mine too. Steve Martin and Dell Curry are one of the best duos in the business. Everyone knows that they're the best part about Bobcats games.

AI wasn't a rookie also... In fact LB has never played a rookie over 20 mins a game outside of Prince..
