But every conceivable statistic of Derozan's is below average for a SF or SG. His eFG% and TS% are especially ridiculous.

Yeah, I do agree that he is terrible. He was a midrange jumpshooter and dunker last year with nothing else and now he can't hit midrange jumpers either.

When is JR coming back? 2k needs him on the Bulls to bring balance to the force

Was there ever anybody in the history of the NBA with knees as bad as Greg Oden's?

If it's true that he was having problems with them while still in grade school, I don't think anyone can come close to topping that.

Didn't the Nets play a home game a season or two ago while an apocalyptic blizzard was going on outside?

There's a pic somewhere. Anyone have it?

But that's the same as every night. Blizzard didn't cause it.

Here's another one. Same game:

So the Nuggets are a bunch of pansies if they back out because of some fucking crystallized ice water. They just gotta use the snow as another element to their home court advantage atop The Arreat Summit.

Lakers will think they're crazy as fuck and won't want none of that. Besides, I'm sure people in Denver are used to that kind of weather.

Looking back at the Oden/Durant draft pick, I think Pritchard violated his best player available mantra. Oden was a dominant inside player at Ohio State, but he never came off as a skilled basketball player. He had a nice shooting form and a monster championship game. His post game was merely using his size to back down defenders or shoot over them.

I think a healthy Oden would have been really good as a 2nd or 3rd best player on a team. Durant can be the best player on the team, Oden can't be. In hindsight, Durant was the best player available. The hype got to me. What a terrible reliving of the Jordan draft.

Oden might have been great if he was healthy, but 'big men' with traditional inside games are always way over valued in the draft. There's the mentality that you need one to win, and that they're few and far between.

Way too many draft picks for years and years were based only on size. 'we can develop his basketball skills, but you can't teach size'. Not a great thought process.

Oden had a much better high school career and brought his team further in the tournament. Oden projected to the best defender in the league and had the size to score even with limited skills. Dwight doesn't really come off as a skilled basketball player either and it doesn't matter.

Are you sure you want to go so far out on a limb?

Yeah, most bigs aren't skilled coming into the league at 19.

Imagine a Roy/Durant/Aldridge big 3.

I don't think high school post game should even be noted by scouts. The gap between post play from high school to college is vast enough... the chasm between high school and NBA interior play is a distance between worlds.

K-Mart is a good pickup for the clips. If they use him over Reggie Evans, they instantly get better, since Evans is just a terrible terrible player.

Still lack scoring off the bench after Mo, though.

Damn, Oden. Dude should just accept that his body doesn't what to play. It is what it is, man.

Dwight had freakish athleticism like Amare in high school. I don't think Oden ever projected to have that type of game. His play style called back to the days of Artis Gilmore. Skills isn't the right term, I think coordination is a better word. Kind of like Brook Lopez. Where he has basketball skills, but lacks the foot speed and coordination.

I would take a healthy Roy over Durant any day. It makes the draft decision more amendable.

Evans is a certified goon and top-tier rebounder. There's always a use for guys like him even in today's pussy dominated league.
