If a Gasol for Lowry/Scola trade is really on the table they need to pull the trigger on that shit ASAP!

We get a rock solid PG and a rock solid 4. The only thing the Lakers would be missing is a solid bench player to make them genuinely dangerous again.

I'd hate to see Pau go, but I'd probably get over it quick with Lowry/Scola. Slight downgrade at the 4, but a major upgrade at the 1.

My only worry would be depth at center. Troy Murphy is listed as a F/C, but I don't think I've seen him at the 5 all season. He's 6'11, 245lbs... can rebound decently, but he might be too old to spell Andrew long enough so that Andrew's knees can get some rest.

Unless opposing teams are running a small line up, we'll get murdered down low.
