lol Kolb is due 7 million this month., why are bills no chance and why does the writer assume the bills have to pay all 59 million. The deadline where they could cut Fitz and save 49 million is still 2 weeks away!
 
So Im thinking Peyton is either going to the jets or the Phins. But it really seems like the Phins have a better offensive core for him to work out of. I don't know how he could choose to go to the zoo in NY.

Seems like half the players on Twitter are throwing their QBs out and begging for Peyton. I wish Fox wasn't dead, so we could all have a good laugh about the Jets all primed to cut Sanchize at the mere hint of Peyton

Still think he goes to MIA. Ross is the only one who will guarantee the money, and it's a good fit. Undermines Philbin a bit since he's never run an offense before and would now have to implement whatever Peyton told him to

edit: just realized we won't be able to post tomorrow during his press conference b/c the iPad stuff will surely crash GAF. What's the deal with snesfreak's taco stand?
 
It'd be funny if Peyton ended up in MIA, given that Fisher always wanted to coach him. Now he's stuck in STL trying to keep things straight while the Williams thing plays out.

Wouldn't it be awesome if, half-way through the press conference tomorrow, Manning takes the podium and then rips off his shirt to show a crazy neon green Seachickens jersey? And then Pete Carroll could run in, smash Irsay's head in with a chair and then the SWO (Seattle World Order) could spray paint profanities on his prone, lifeless carcass.
 
Mannings best shot at a Super Bowl is with the niners. And anyone who says otherwise is stupid. But we really dont need manning. We were 2 fluke fumbles away from the Super Bowl with a new coaching staff in a lockout shortened season. We goin to the Super Bowl U2 style manning.... With or without you!

There's no way we get him (doesn't seem like the sort of thing Baalke or Harbaugh would do), but I'd still love to hear that he was coming to SF. How can you not want him for your team if you don't have one of the top 5 QB's already?

SF really is a match made in heaven for him, given it sounds like he's bringing Wayne wherever he goes.

I'd be shocked if he didn't go to Miami at this point. Still don't see how the Redskins get him given that Miami is a better situation (just as good a D, maybe slightly worse, and already has Marshall sitting there for you to throw to), especially since if he went to the NFC East, he'd play his brother twice a year, doubt he wants to do that unless the Redskins were a great situation (they aren't) for him.

I wouldn't be upset if he came to sf but I just think the money is better spent elsewhere. We don't know how durable he will be, how his arm strength is, how he will operate in a new system. Let the skins or fins or seachickens pay him $20 mil a year to find out

Yea, I know all that, but hes Peyton Manning, future HOF QB. It could be a disaster (gets injured in one of the first few games of the season and then we have to start Kaepernick), but I can't say I don't want to see it happen. It is kind of hard for me to want to kick alex to the curb, especially after that Saints game (although the 1/13 on 3rd downs in the giants game grounds me on that one).
 
I don't want Manning at all, at most he provides us with some playoff appearances and retires. After that the team is in the same hole as of now except the team is 3 years older. Get a QB like RGIII and hope he becomes a star and ride him for the next 15 years.

wtf. We got fortunate Alex turned out the mediocre year he did.

Peyton at 70% Peyton is better than 200% of Alex Smith's best possible performance.

The Niners should go hard for him. With their defense and special teams, Gore + decent receivers, they'd be the clear faves going into the season (assuming Manning is healthy enough to play).

I am not banking on Alex Smith again. No sirree.
 
SNES should tell his boy Freeman to pick some of this up from the grocery store.

This list makes me want to off myself. Manning news is sad, I love watching him play. I hope he goes somewhere halfway decent. I can't wait for FA to start to see how all this stuff shakes out. RG3's price keeps going down.
 
Whichever team signs Manning gets skiesofwonder as a fan with them being his #2 team. I think the same thing applies to Tabris. Package deal and then some.
