In a monumental swerve, Manning reveals he's leaving Indiana for India to pursue his true passion, cricket. Flips off camera, yells "Fuck your footsteps, DAD!", jet packs out.

Cuevas is 100 proof.

Only place I don't want Manning to go is Baltimore. That team is dangerous and Manning would put them over the top.

...on the other hand, both are also chokers, so maybe it doesn't matter.

I also think Manning will end up a Cowboy. Seems like something Jones would do and I think they are really down on Romo after another December collapse.

It won't be any place with an "established" QB.
Even if they suck like Flacco, Romo, etc.

Only place I could see is the Jets but I don't think they have the bankroll.

If he wants to play for a contender and Harby is content with throwing Smith under the bus, I could see the 49ers.

Giants' writer Ralph Vacchiano says what I've been saying for a while now:

"I still wouldn't bet on Peyton Manning landing with the Redskins or the Jets. The Mannings never loved the Manning Bowls or embraced the comparisons between the two brothers. They hated -- absolutely hated -- the long buildup to the first Manning Bowl in the 2006 season opener. I find it hard to believe they'd want to set up two of them per year (with the Redskins) or endless stories comparing them (with the Jets)."

Really surprised that the 49ers don't want to throw Alex Smith under the bus and pick up Peyton.

Say what you want about Alex having a lot of coordinators or whatever...but he's failed. Simple as that. Bring in Peyton and enjoy the superbowl...

Same thing with the Ravens. This loyalty thing is real dumb.

So the Seahawks are willing to spend huge money for Manning?

I thought they would have been a good sleeper pick next year anyway.

To many other issues to bring manning in plus we both know that he would survive the season in the afc north and behind our oline

Manning would make any o-line look better but... I think your team is and has been good enough to get to the SB. Luck just hasn't been on their side. IMO, I think Boldin needs a complimentary #1 WR to aide him. Ur thoughts?

And what happens if the 49ers break the bank for him (because there's going to be a bidding war for him).

The 49ers lose Carlos Rogers, who is their best CB. They also lose out on a chance to get one of the Free Agent WR, which is a huge need for them.

Now we go to the season and Manning hurts his neck again because Davis misses a block.

Which means the 49ers are now having to resort of Kaepernick, who still needs a lot of work.

Would I love for the 49ers to get Manning, yes. However, there's way to many question marks that come along with him.

Any team with a good tight end, two receivers and a running back who can block and catch out of the backfield will be unstoppable with Manning assuming he can still physically do it.

Pair that with a good defense and look out.

Just Manning on a Garbo team is not going to automatically contend. He will improve the team but he can't do it by himself.

Manning comes with Wayne, and he would improve the 9ers WRs. Their D is so good that losing Rodgers would hurt but it wouldnt be a huge deal, and Manning is millions of times better then small hands. If the 9ers have any chance at all to get Manning they have to.

ay

kubiak and others off kirby dr...now is the chance to strike...cut schaub, let mario walk...bring in manning to QB the best team in Texas

ship within the next 3 years

DO IT

I don't really want manning, but if it's the only way Dallas gives up on Romo I'm for it.

When I used to play wow I played with a guy with your name. Why'd you steal his name?

how do you know im not him O_o

I completely agree I think Q is more of a Slot/short and intermediate route runner now with Cam running the coryelle his missed used. I think Torrey will be our number one and hopefully we can get another speedy WR on the outside so Q can carve up the slot

I'm not sold on Smith... He drops a lot of passes and lets the ball get into his body too much... Eh, I think you guys need someone who is ready NOW. That defense isn't getting any younger. I can't see them dropping off too much but once Ray/Reed retire, they can't be replaced.

I'd love it if they blew tons of cash on an old and busted Manning and pissed off Unibrow in the process. And then, when it blows up in their face, they're back to looking for another immobile QB with spotty accuracy because Unibrow is in a Raider uniform.

I agree there. I remember last Manningbowl had Peyton glad to win but feeling awful at beating Eli. I think he left the field quickly after the game ended.

I will laugh so hard when Denver fans start rioting in the streets in anger when it's leaked that Elway-Fox are looking at replacing Based Tebow with Peyton.

We all know it's going to happen.

I think you are confusing riot with Superbowl parade. Manning at QB and Tebow at RB. It would be like the next iteration of Elway and TD.

I thought Giants won their second matchup?
