They really got the character writing down in this game. I also loved how you won't always find them in their quarters. It's like they actually have lives now. Garrus exchanges war stories with James and jokes with Joker. Engineer Adams has a drink with Dr. Chakwas. Javik makes fun of James in the mess hall. And they take shore leave, too. It was nice being able to see my crew all over the Citadel.

Yep that's what I was actually talking about. Ashley's writing was dramatically improved and I romanced her in this game and really loved having her with me. By far the biggest connection in the games for me was Ashley in this game. I had her on my team always and I loved the growth of her character from #1. Her drunk really played well as a fear response and their love in the game felt somewhat real...for a game. Which fucking SUCKED when she is on the Normandy with Joker on another planet as my body lies in the fucking rubble. It actually made me feel lonely.

Honestly I would have been totally fine with an ending with me on the Normandy as well at the end on the other planet. Blow the ship, leap out into space(ala #2) and the Normandy catches me and we jet off just before the explosion activates. I would be totally fine with that.
Instead you have 'One Breath Shepard' and Joker trying to knock boots with my woman.

Bioware fuck you.

There were so many great scenes in this game which makes it all the more painful.

Pretty much every terrible scene in this game has that dumb kid in it. The intro, the flashbacks and of course the very end.

I remember that humans were special somehow, but I can't for the life of me remember why they were creating a human reaper in ME2. :lol

No wonder kids didn't exist in the previous games.
 
Bah just checked it on youtube. Why does she look like a disfigured gorilla? I much prefer the one where Tali gets drunk and bitch about Miranda and call a straw an emergency induction port.

At least I'm impressed they didn't copy/paste the same scenario for Kaidan.

Prior to ME3 I hypothesized that the reaper form we all know was the last great species the reapers had conquered and their form the greatest thus far but because a human had thwarted their efforts they were making a prototype to see if the human form was in fact a more efficient and superior form to the squid like one, which they used for all harvested species regardless of their physical shape because the squid was the best so far. ME3 kind of ruined that possibility.

there is an extra dialog with Drunk Tali if you have a certain someone. LOL

It doesn't ruin it. Because Shep thwarted their plans, they may have given up on a human-shaped Reaper.

ME2's paper-thin plot, why don't you make sense? Off to wiki I go.

Ya its like amazing sex, fucking, sucking, licking, flicking, rubbing, people may pass away because the sex is so good sex...then your mom walks in eating a chicke leg and asks if you know where she put her maxi pads after she got home from the store.

And no matter what you can't continue because now the hot chick has teleported to another town along with all your close friends, and they can never come back because the town is actually in Russia.

I didn't like that she kinda touches your forearm with her fingers in a more-than-friends way after that scene, even if you didn't romance her. That was a bit odd.

I got super choked up with the Shepard and Garrus dialogue about meeting each other at the bar in Heaven near the start of the final push.

"There is no Shepard without Vakarian." One of the best fucking lines from the game.

Also didn't like how he's supposed to be an instructor at Grissom Academy and doesn't even talk about what happened there after the Cerberus attack. Man, his conversations are boring. He only talk about canadian beer, his dad and mother and how you are so mean because you worked with Cerberus.

At least he's pretty good in battle because of Reave (which you can learn form him) and Overload.
