SHANE LAWL. I thought they were going to pull out samurai swords and duel in front of the moon.

Nice job, Lori. Worst mother ever (lets her kid walk around where he wants during a zombie apocalypse) and always knows the right thing to say at the right time to make everything ten times worse than it needs to be.

lol @ the zombies all being nearby in a big group but unaware of what is happening until the gunshot.

Zombie Dale coming back next week. I am calling it now.

Fucking incredible! Shane is dead, Shane is dead....LONG LIVE RICK!

Pretty great episode. Looks like the finale will be zombified. I'm glad they killed Shane and Dale off. Both were holding the group back in some aspect. More Shane than Dale. It's good to know we won't see Shane bitching about everything. Now we can finally move away from the farm and see where things take us.

The preview hypes up the finale pretty well.

What the hell at Rick killing him with a knife. I'm Team Rick, but come the fuck on Shane. You could've killed him and then fixed your story about how the kid killed him and you had Rick's gun after surprising him or something.

Fucking knew he was going to kill Shane when he was talking like that.

Also Carl making an impossible shot like that with his height disadvantage.

But shit is gonna get real with all those zombies in the woods. And Glenn and Daryl are both still out there.

Man I really wish they'd done it the way the book did it :(

I always imagined that would play out as crazy cheezy on screen. It's not like Kirkman's prose sold it to me originally. Shane's gradual descent was much more earned here and this played out more organically than the comics IMO.

I know people will hate, because overall the show is goofy and sorta' embarrassing sometimes, but I thought this worked.

I imagine he was planning on doing that, but killing your old friend can be tough.

You may know me as a guy who kind of regularly shits on this show, but that ep was great. We reached peak Shane madness, there was no turning back. Him and Dale peaked in their final eps. Can't be mad.

Long live the Glen Mazzara era of Walking Dead.

Team Shane am cry.

I have been Team Rick 90% of the time since Season 2 started, but I gotta admit, seeing Shane go out like that... it just feels bad, mang. :(

Best 10 min in Walking Dead since the pilot right there.

This. The climatic scene was drawn out too much, but it was capped by the horde from the woods. Wall to motherfucking wall zombie action next week.

Dead Pool Suggestions?

- Carol
- T-Dog
- Couple of the farmpeople
- Girl who attemped suicide

The others I see living.

Yeah I'm betting Hershel and Maggie are the only farm survivors

And then I'll bet T-Dawg and Sophia's mom get gutted too.

Gotta condense dat cast for season 3

so any theories on why the dead are coming back to life? the full moon?

It's either in the air, or my hypothesis... pretty much everyone on Earth now has been exposed to the zombies enough that they are carrying the disease with them. It only kicks in once you die though.

Yeah, it's weird that Shane is dead. The otis episode with him was one of my favorites this season.

Carl pulled off that headhsot like a boss. Been playing too much COD.

If you compare the second half of this season with the first half the change in quality has been pretty jarring. This episode started out slow, but the last half-ish was amazing.

This is why comic spoilers related to this topic need to still be spoiler tagged.

If you know, no talking about it until it's confirmed in the season finale or next Fall.

Someone apparently already ruined it in this thread if they're right. Bastards. :( I really hope it isn't that otherwise the comic (which I haven't read) and whole pretense jumps the shark from the get-go.

Think about it....just think...that kid also died from Shane and became a zombie....just think bro!

Have you read the comic? Has it been alluded to before? I thought Shane had slipped him some Zombie blood or some stupid shit like that. Or maybe Shane was infected for some time and hadn't told anyone.

I feel dumb for not realizing how Shane and the prisoner kid got turned into zombies :(

And I probably wouldn't have guessed it if I didn't read it on GAF lol

Shane finally went off the deep end. It was just a matter of when, I personally loved Rick doing it up close with a knife. That was a great moment.

Next week looks like a series finale, should be awesome. I'm guessing Carol, Unnamed Farmboy, Suicide Girl, Hershel, and Tdog dont make it
