Until the Bills offense got destroyed by injuries, they were lighting up D's left and right (leading the league). Their main problem was their defense. With Darius being a year older and Kyle Williams coming back ... the addition of Williams would make for a serious D-line. So couple a vastly improved D-line (lack of pressure was one of their biggest issues) with an offense that has lots of potential ... the Bills could be a much better team than is initially obvious.

It's okay, most folks' knowledge of the Bills don't extend further than their mediocre record and Stevie Johnson. I don't even blame them for it, either.

We are going to have to re-evaluate player's prime years now. With the advances in strength and conditioning, diets, human growth hormone use, and other PEDs careers are getting extended every year.

But I agree, 1 or 2 year window max with Urlacher, Briggs, Peppers, Tillman core.

ya maybe if we were on the east coast, but the national media doesn't give 2 fucks about the midwest. and i believe in football karma. usually to make a good run you have to make it through the season relatively healthy. we were unusually healthy in 2010 and made it to the NFC title game. 2011 we were besieged with injuries and got fucked. i doubt we get fucked with injuries 2 years in a row, but we'll see.
