Are there Asari in heaven? Can I have sex with them?

And what does their sweat taste like?

I'd enjoy debating/fantasizing about a potential red herring ending more if it didn't seem like that plot point pretty much starts and ends with Shepard's fairly embarrassing dream sequences. If the game was building up to an indoctrination twist/climax in any way, which is a pretty cool idea honestly, they could have done so much more with it during the course of the game.

As it stands there is barely an arc from Hero of the Galaxy to Reaper slave. Things are vague enough where they could probably get away with it, but not written nearly as well enough as it should have been for something so important.

OK so I got to the ending and the paths weren't labelled, so I figured I'd check one out to see what it was, but once I'd started down it I couldn't go back. So I don't even know what ending I got, and because manual saving was disabled all the way through the final mission, I don't have a save anywhere nearby (clearing the game overwrote the autosave).

I got given three choices, but nowhere was it indicated which one corresponsed to which path. I took the right-hand path and shot the Power Conduit thing, can someone tell me which ending that was? It didn't look like the one I ought to have gotten; according to the list of endings I saw, if I had between 4000-4999 effective mission strength I should've been able to get an ending where Earth is saved and Shepard and Anderson survived. That last bit already went down the tube, the Illusive Man capped him in the back of the head, so I shot the Illusive Man.

Please, somebody throw me a frickin' bone here.

Did you see blue, green or red?

Oh, no, Anderson dies regardless, Shepard 'lives' as in you get a sneak peak of armor breathing beneath rubble if the score is high enough. You got the destroy ending.

Pick at random. Only difference is the color.

(Left is Control, middle is Synthesis, Right is Destroy)

I can't believe that at the end of Mass Effect 3, the Reapers challenge the humans to a Space Jam.

There is no bone to throw to you. There is NO ending where Shepherd and Anderson survive and there is no Paragon or Renegade version of the ending.

Who are they?

Plinkett does incredibly in-depth reviews of movies and explains every single reason why they are (usually) terrible.

The character he does during the videos can be hit-and-miss for some people, but I think acting like he's insane makes the extremely detailed analysis he does hilarious.

I forgot to mention, the last thing I saw before the final mission was Tali and Garrus about to go at it.

My thoughts:

Then Tali goes on about using Garrus for his body... girl doesn't fuck around.

That was a good moment. Especially after I broke her heart.

The only reason I think Saren didn't make Husks was because his task required more subtlety at the time, but otherwise both he TIMs action and arguments are very similar.

Then where the hell does every single husk you face in ME1 come from? At least the Eden Prime ones have to be entirely his as Geth culture is quite different from the type of Reaper one that makes husks.

Plot holes that you can drive a Reaper through. Choices not mattering. Only difference being what color the magic space beam is. Normandy randomly fleeing from battle, making it light hours to the Charon Relay, with your fucking Squad on board, somehow.

The Normandy flying away in the end made very little sense, especially with my ground team mates on board without a single scratch. I chose the "good" ending btw. I thought the ending was good, just poorly executed.

And as someone else mentioned, the ending was extremely similar to that of Human Revolution.

That's because the endings themselves are practically copied and pasted from the original Deus Ex from 2000.

I like when people describe their endings as 'good' or 'bad' or 'paragon' or 'renegade'. You really do have to specify the colour of your explosion for us to know what you're talking about.

The light elevator. Once you get the light elevator, turn the game off and tell yourself that the Crucible worked and killed all the Reapers.

Eh I guess I phased that wrong when I use the term Husk I mean reaper troops in general. Sarens foot soldier were the Geth and planned out tube Krogan on Virmire. The husks you see in ME 1 were assumed to be something created by Geth tech by everyone including the Normandy crew till they meet Soverign and were far less numerous in ME 1 then the subsequent games. It was still easy to hide the Reapers existence with those Husks.

Did you see blue, green or red?

Well, it was the path on the right hand side, it was kind of red coloured I guess? And the beam that shot out of the Crucible/Citadel/whatever was kind of orangey I guess? It destroyed all the mass relays and caused the Normandy to crash on some random planet somewhere.

Well shit. I dunno, I guess that was the one I was going for? I didn't really like the other two that got described. Wait, by destroy do you mean the one where you destroy all synthetic life, not just the Reapers? Cos I didn't really wanna do that.
