Fuck is this a joke? Anything can happen? Get that NBA marketing crap out of here. Bulls have NO CHANCE IN HELL.

Wow. I see a funny trend in the stats this season. Of the top teams, Lakers seem to be the only team loosing equally against below .5s and above .5s even compared to OKC,Bulls and heat. Seems like if they took care of the Buiznez against fodder teams they would be far better off in the standings.

I think we have the best record vs. above .500 teams, actually. Pathetic that they can't keep the same level of intensity against "lesser" teams.

Part of the reason is because outside of the big 3, they had no one else stepping it up. I remember one game where the Lakers scored like... 110 pts or something, Kobe, Pau and Bynum had 80 of those.

and I don't think the Heat have any chance against this young hungry Bulls team who will dominate the boards and shoot 50% from three

I am going to out-jinx you!

no but seriously, in the east I think the Bulls and Magic could take the Heat, yeah I do think the Heat are favored and I'd expect them to win, but it's the playoffs and anything can happen

As we've learned for the past 3 god damn years

Call me crazy but I don't give the Magic a shot in hell. Barring an 09 ECF team shooting performance they will get outed in a similar fashion to past years. Hell Bos would probably put them out.

Is Sessions penned in as a future starter by fans???

I would think it's Blake's job to lose but it seems like Lakers' fans see Sessions starting eventually.

I could be wrong on what they think but he could be a nice leader of the second unit, there's no shame in that.

dunno. but blake should start.
except for konex, he's already crowning him an all star.

That's exactly what scares me lol. Not likely to happen but it's possible.

I just refuse to think of anything too one-sided now, I feel a lot better thinking about most things with a more "Well shit this might happen" stance

Just a note on Steve Blake...

Blazers fans have watched Felton shit the bed this whole season, and we still said no to Steve Blake coming back.

When the Heat lose games, they seem to lose them in bunches. Especially against good competition (I'm not talking about losing to Chicago one night and then pounding Sacramento the next) it's a really bizarre thing about this team but it's a trend. if you get homecourt and you frustrate the heat like hell in the first two games and throw them off, even if it's 1-1 or whatever, anything can happen

Yeah but look at last year. Bulls came out playing some of the best D I've seen of any team in G1 and got beat in 4 straight. They could win, but it would have to be in similar fashion to last game.

How was Blake's stay in Portland? Solid contributor? He came off the bench, right? Did he ever start due to injuries, and if so, how did he do as a starter?

That's pathetic. Too bad they aren't young enough to keep that performance up. That's what worries me in the playoffs. The okc kinda have that dynamic between Harden/durant/Brook but they can afford to keep up the tempo.

I was just gonna say they're like OKC except older and more injury prone.

Fisher's contract has been bought out. Truly a soldier without a war.

: (

If Dr. Buss was still running things, Fish would have a job in the FO somewhere. Or on teh coaching staff.

What do you guys make of LeBron and other Heat players targeting Deng's bad hand and swatting at it all game as reports have said???

Competitive advantage/part of the game or bitchmade????

Please put put your bias at the door.

It is a big deal. The Heatles retiring the jersey of a player who was one of the reasons they never won a chip. It's the equivent of LA retiring Birds jersey.
Thats irrelevant and in no way comparable. Most all our stars from that era co-signed the move, along with the FO. Its simply respect.

Sorry if thats too hard for you to grasp.

If screaming at people worked as a defensive tool outside of the YMCA, Boozer would be MVP, DPOY, ROY, MIP and COTY every year
