I'm not white knighting it at all because I think it's stupid also. It's not like AMC is known for having multiple quality shows air at the same time so I don't care enough to complain about it but it's annoying to see constant complaints about one show in another show's thread. If AMC were to do one change for next season then I wish they moved The Talking Dead to right after the first airing of The Walking Dead instead of making us have to come back at midnight.
Amen, let the golden age begin.

Merl or Morgan coming back in the Prison arc. I'm really hoping it's the latter but wouldn't mind the former as long as it doesn't hurt Daryl's role in the group in the long run.

She was good on Treme, but that character quite a bit different from what she'll be doing on TWD.
But gained two characters that are far more interesting than Shane ever will be.

Thought for sure there'd be a moment where Daryl reached into a saddlebag to grab the pistol that Carl thieved away from him.

She's probably dubiously indignant because Carl looked up to Shane, and she respected him for at least.
Notice early in the season
"We are through Shane!"
"What did you just do, Shane? You just shot Carl down!"

Yeah we'll see about that one. So far they've been pretty schizophrenic. One episode Carl's a normal, scared kid, the next he's the kid from the omen. One episode Daryl's collecting ears like Colonel Kurtz, the next we forget all about it. I don't think 'Awesome Rick' is going to last, based on 15 minutes from the season finale of the second season. These characters need some motivation behind their actions.
Her reaction was more about how Rick professed his ability to stop it whenever he wanted but wanted to get it over with so he let it happen.
She also seemed to react very strongly when she found out Carl was the one who "put him down" when he changed.
And probably the intense life threatening situation in which numerous individuals she has lived with for weeks (months? I forgot) died right in front of her eyes. And pregnancy hormones.

The way they explained it on Talking Dead is she's just sort of in shock, she realizes it's all her fault that she ruined Rick and Shane's lives.

Didn't really see anything worth capping for this episode.
I like how she kills the dude from 10 feet away.
Yeah, she needed to be about 5 feet closer when the camera panned up or be in the process of recovering her swing.
Yep, really a bad shot. They need to edit to be where the frame is more zoomed in for that.

The only reason Rick is awesome now is because he's channeling Shane. So your point is moot.
I don't look at it like that at all.
Rick will still make smart, un-Shanelike decisions. He's stressed out like everyone else and just had that really sweet moment with his wife.
He's just changed a bit. More confident. They're qualities he always had but Shane second guessed him in front of the group constantly.

That was a pretty awesome moment I'll admit. I thought for a moment Andrea was having some sort of dream and that character would sort of dissolve into one of the group. That character must be pretty bad ass if she's walking around with two walkers on a leash and a sword.
For a moment I thought Andrea was a goner and I was feeling pretty bad for her. Glad she didn't get killed. And Rick finally reveals to the group that they are all in fact infected. Going to be interesting in seeing how certain people deal with that news. Will they feel it's even worth it to keep fighting or will some just give up and not be able to accept that when they die, unless they're cremated or shot in the head they'll become exactly what they're running from.

Imagine what he just went through. And they just heard noise in the woods. That whole situation was tense as fuck. The kids like 12.

I no longer watch the show. Shots like this reassure me that I made the right decision.

Slow vehicle, lots of zombies in the way, hard to take off. Plus, the scene needed more drama.

I don't get why he even came to a complete stop, just slow it down a bit so Rick can do a dramatic slow mo jump onto it like he's Commander Shepard!
