K-ON represents everything that is good about moe, assuming you can wrap your mind around the fact that moe can be good. Those of you who can, should watch K-ON.
Kinda strange too, considering the sales have been plenty decent. The animation was always suspect since the first episode though, maybe they're just conserving budget for the final few episodes.
Obviously I have very little trouble wrapping my mind around this fact.

Not season one. I have season one. I just haven't followed up, which admittedly is a grievous error.
What no. K-on!! wasted too much episodes about their slice of life instead of concentrating on their concerts and the band.
Shoe is only one man, and one man can only do so much.
One season had more Azu-nyan than the other.
Ooh, Nagi Yanagi's performing the ending theme for the first Jormungand season. Also they confirmed that it'll be a complete adaptation of the entire manga, so I guess that sounds promising.
I don't mind slice of life adventures in this particular series.
The overabundance of azu-nyan has me a bit concerned because I'm not a fan of that character.
At this point the only explanation I see that makes sense is that Billy Hoolio is deliberately trying to cause that. We still haven't learned why he suddenly made an enemy of Muginami right after she told him she has pilot-control of a Vox he supposedly wants to destroy.
While a healthy human brain rejects that sort of input, some people have been observed to actually accept this mixture of serious + silly/fetish/meme, due to possessing a rare brain region dubbed the meta-observational extrapyramidal lobe, which extracts meta-enjoyment from the ass-shot camera angle/torn clothes/BL service/running-gag clown outfit/whatever, while their normal brain regions simultaneously take the rest of the scene completely seriously. The MOE lobe's connection to the involuntary motor system is thought to be responsible for the irrational purchasing decisions common in people who suffer from this condition.
Eh, there are(is?) entire episodes with totally no Azusa. You can't say the same for the other 4.

from what i remember she doesn't do much as a character in the first season other than get harassed by the group into wearing cat ears for some reason

Every K-ON girl's fine, really. I don't see why we can't love them equally. My only real gripe is that they spend far too much time drinking tea and becoming adorably fat. Where did all the ambition for Budokan go?

I think its pretty fun and perhaps amazing. Character cast is all around really likable, music is pretty on point, and there is no lack of great character interaction. The highlight beyond the cool main character and co is definitely the epic mech fights and their variety of abilities. Perhaps check it out, its one that ought not be missed.

IS is...interesting to say the least. I liked it. mostly because of Japan, China, and France.
Chihayafuru is also pretty great. Glad people are following that one.

By far one of my favorite episodes of this show. I just love watching everyone's reaction to
Tylor appearing in dress whites, ready to go down with the ship.

I was thinking the same thing was the cause. Definitely not a distaste for IS!
Lots of people don't like IS. Although just about everybody liked Charles.
I was joking about Infinite Stratos being the cause anyway. Well lesson learned, stay away from those sensitive threads.
I really likes the first seaosn. Had the same vibe as Toradora! Didn't like the 2nd season as much but was good as well. The third was just a turd.

Yeah, Azunyan appears pretty late in S1. Fortunately they more than make up for this in S2.

They'll still be drawn exactly the same, so who cares?
Nobody cares about the other girls, that's why. The one which still has Azunyan will naturally be more popular than the one without.
China is pretty bad, but I'm glad there's someone besides me who appreciated Japan. France is Goddess-tier, of course, but we all know that.

Really this was yet again another highlight episode. Lagrange works best when it has limited focus on the girls outside of combat and more focus on the cool designs by Nissan with high climax explosive action. Although it didnt really make much feasible sense, sending all those ovids against the three Vox's was pretty epic and cool, I loved it. I think my favorite part was actually seeing

Izo, Kirius, Array defend the town from that glorious and almighty blast, I knew they would make the right decision in the end, now if they can join in on the fighting too that would be cool. Definitely the best characters in this anime

why in the world was everyone huddled in the middle of an open field at the school, its like they were setting themselves up to be targettd, they ought to have evacuated to the subspace shield shelters, which was actually another highlight of the episode, those shields defending Pharos
