Not sure, Looking at the next camera near the end, it doesn't look like there's a bump on his head at all.

Of course, but we don't have hospital records at our disposal for our discussion. We do however have very clear evidence of no injuries.

At 1:06 it's just a dimple casting a shadow, between 50seconds in to 1min you get an extremely clear view of the back of his head.

There's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many people involved, from the neighborhood witnesses after the fact to the police on the scene to the paramedics involved for this to be some kind of lie and cover-up re: injuries. More likely Zimmerman was lightly injured/cut/whatever and was treated at the scene.

re: the shot in the back stuff - I think if that had happened we'd have known about it already. The family's lawyer would have made sure of that.

Head wounds bleed a lot, and Zimmerman has a shaved head. Even if it was cleaned up, you'd still probably see discoloration or a bandage or something.

If you got medical attention for a broken nose, wouldn't it be bandaged in some way?

What about the supposed wounds to his head?

Let's take this step by step - do you think the punch in the nose alone warrants shooting as self defence? If not, do you think his claim of having his head smashed on the pavement repeatedly (he says he was screaming for help during this ordeal of head smashing face punching, so it happened for at least 30 seconds) would warrant shooting as self defence?

If you say yes to the second, he would need to have wounds, ANY wounds on the back of his head to corroborate that story. He looks like he had a fresh shave and wax, but not even a bump.

Worse than the lack of blood is that he was on the phone with his girlfriend and obviously Zimmerman was still following him. Assuming that is true. So the jumped while walking back to his car is garbage on multiple levels.

Again though, shit changes every day so we'll see.

It's not just his story that he had those injuries. The paramedics treated the wounds. He also went to the hospital the next day. There's going to be plenty of people to either confirm or deny that he was injured. It won't come down to just that blurry video, and more importantly it wont just come down to the words of Zimmerman.

So apparently the police reports may have been altered. He was a John Doe in the morgue for 3 days, but the police report which was written right after the events of the night have Trayvon's name, address, etc on it.

What video are you watching? If you're talking about the view at 1:06, It was simply the lighting as the other camera shows him with a clean head, same with the view from 0:00 to 1:06.

So Zimmerman claims he put up a fight, he sustained injuries, and it was sustaining those injuries that he decided to shoot Trayvon...and he tells the cops this and they don't document the injuries he sustained via crime scene photographer? Or are they just holding those back?

Doesnt look too upset about having just shot and killed a kid either. But, it's a short video hard to tell much.

I also notice, no blood stains on his shirt from his supposed broken/bloody nose.

No link, they have been having a conversation about that with Martin's parents attorney on MSNBC. The police report was written a few hours after, supposedly, but all of Trayvon's info is listed. Sort of suggesting they went back and altered shit after the fact.

I think every fair-minded person is simply expecting that they have photos and they're not releasing them pending a trial. I sincerely hope that's the reason, because the video is pretty damn...questionable.

And the DA's offices. The whole situation regarding the justice system in that area is looking highly suspect now and I hope federal prosecutors begin working through all parties involved with high scrutiny, both now and in the past.
 
I want to know who's idea it was to obsucre his damn head with the goddamn ABCNews identifier bar for 80% of the video. That guy needs to get kicked in the balls.

I'm going to guess you believe it because of personal interaction with black/white people (which isn't something I would base anything off of, unless you measured the voices of a representative sample) or because you heard it from someone else.

Only that? What about the blood from shooting him in the chest while Trayvon was of top of him beating him to the point of fearing for his life.

Uh, yea he was.

The Martin family also criticized the Sanford police department for failing to identify their son more quickly. Martin's body was left in the morgue for three days, classified as a "John Doe." The family charges that officers didn't bother to ask neighbors if they recognized Martin, who had been staying with his father in the neighborhood.

This is whats been reported. There was hoopla(in this thread) over how the police failed to identify him, whether they had the ability to ID him or not was a subject of debate since they had his phone. His mom reported him missing and 3 days after the shooting is when they saw his body.
