People still play Halo?
I think when people actually see the screen shots they will have more of a right to be underwhelmed. If they were not Halo fans in the first place or don't play console games anymore there is 0 chance they would be hyped anyways.

We haven't seen any single player footage other than Chief hanging out by himself.
Can you give me some Reach screencaptures that show off it's graphical fidelity? Because I have the game in my system right now, and well, it's not really a looker.

You're kidding right? My uncle has that game and i played it, its medicore in grfx. Plz show me parts of the game where it isnt medicore in grfx and i will back off. Its a good game though and im not even a FPS fan im just speaking gfx specifically. Oh, it takes someone voicing their opinion that you dont like to ignore them?

Recently a lot of companies have been opening the floodgates of information on their game, while game release is well off, I mean Borderlands 2 as an example
If GI only has info, then next we hear of Halo 4 is E3, then good, but if other websites get other info and is released slowly on weekly/bi-weekly process, yeah, the E3 thunder will be big for MS

Look at all the past reveals, all pretty positive reaction (well except Southpark, but that was mild to say at least).
The tweet said nothing about an unnannouced game or that people have already seen it. As much as people read into things, they neglect to even notice that?

Please, there is nothing out of the ordinary about the posts in this thread, besides the one that claimed Halo isn't played anymore, that was stupid.
There were signs pointing to it being Halo 4, its honestly their fault for getting hyped and still falling for that shit. This happens in every magazine and every "exclusive" online reveal. You think people would have learned by now, I mean remember that "Killer Reboot" thing that turned out to be AC3?
People need to keep their expectations low and in check.

I've learned from that, that's why GI covers don't affect me anymore, but the reactions to others who were excited but let down are ridiculous imo.

Crysis 3 and Halo 4 where listed as possible reveals in the first post, the fact that Halo 4 was revealed should not really baffle anybody. People should have already excepted that it might be Halo 4.

I really dont understand all the hate, if you aren't into Halo that's fine, but there has been only one miniscule info drop so far, with like a minute of obscure footage and 3 screens from this game. We dont know what it looks like at all tbh, so I think this is a pretty big deal.

Even the art is boring, is that what GI thought we would be talking about? I hope those screens are decent. But if it's running on Xbox 360 hardware, I don't really see how I could be impressed anymore. Still wishing Halo 4 were a 720 launch title. Then even I would be interested in being an early adopter.
I think all future announcement hints for magazines and online reveals needs to have a giant label of !DON'T GET HYPED! because the cycle keeps on going on and just never ends

Xbox 360 seems relatively maxed out graphically at this point. I'm looking forward to Halo 5 on the next gen console at this point.
