At least there's been more 5 on 5 play.
What stings about this is that in 2009 I wasn't scared or worried AT ALL when the Caps went up 2-0 on the Pens in their playoff series. Why? Because I thought the Pens gave it their all in the first two games and actually outplayed the Caps in both of them. I was confident that eventually puck luck would go their way and their hard work would pay off.
This series? Fuck it. I feel like the Pens just can't hold onto a lead, and that the Flyers just get better as the game goes on. My only hope now is for Crosby to continue his domination in Philadelphia and somehow lead this team back. It would be nice if Malkin amped it up a bit too. With all of the attention he's been getting, Crosby's been able to net himself 4 points in 2 games, but that's just not good enough when your team gives up 4 and and then 8 goals in games. It's not all on Fleury since he's made some breakaway saves and has had some great moments, but he needs to stop the puck more, and the Pens' D just needs to stop making stupid passes and running around.

To be fair, the Kings feed announcers were also puzzled. The puck tucked in behind the goal cam and didn't come out, so only the ref (and Brown) saw where it was.

You shouldn't EVER do a drop pass in your own end. Bench the guy for a period for doing that dumb shit. One would think after the tenth fancy move in his own zone that turns into a shot for the other team that he might, I dunno, move up to at least AHL level defensive knowledge.

Seriously, I'm 3 beers in and I knew it was a goal. The ref pointing at the net usually means that.
