Halo 4 - November 6, 2012.

Are you referring the the MP stuff? Yeah I don't really care about all that, I'm talking more about the campaigns. Unless 343i strays way off course (which I doubt) it's a given that H4 will have the better campaign just by the nature of the two series.

Haha yeah, you have to work hard at having a worse sp than cod

Deadly Cyclone, they'll own November. COD is nothing in front of Master Chief's cock.

Tooks some huge bolas to go against the next CoD. But I know where my money is going to, hell already have my Halo 4 preordered.

Ya, this is definitely saying COD, were coming for you. I like it.

Edit: 343 want to make an impression on the industry, and what better impression can you make than beating COD.

If Halo and the next COD release on the same night, it will be insanity. Mini vans, flat brims and energy drinks everywhere.

Day 1

Obama should do a speech in MJOLNIR armor.

Quick, someone do a 'shop.

lol, i cant wait to buy halo and vote. in the same day.

Man, I kinda wish BLOPS2 would be released on the same day. I can just imagine the insanity at Gamestop at Midnight.

Seriously though, 343i and MS need to have one crazy Marketing plan for Halo 4 if they are going head to head with CoD.

Ha.

Well I was never meaning they'd lose a ton of sales, but some gamers will now have to decide between Blops and Halo 4. If the games were in alternate months those gamers would likely buy both.

I have a marketing background though, so I am very very excited to see how this battle is marketed and where the money goes. (money goes everywhere).

Are they trying to get Activision to blink and move the date. COD has always been released at around that time, I think WaW was the latest.

And going right up against COD BO2 :O that is surprising because COD sells best on 360, and people who are getting both that day can't play at the same time.

Nice. Hope the rental store gets it in on time or early. I'd really like to be able to decide if it's a buy or not within a reasonable time frame from release.

This seems like a bad idea, September releases were usually good for Halo, got it out ahead of Call of Duty along with all the other AAA October/November releases. Wonder if the game wasn't going to be ready in time or not. Regardless of how you feel about Halo OR Call of Duty this doesn't make sense for Microsoft. The reality is that Call of Duty will outsell anything else regardless of it's quality, and given that Call of Duty is biggest on 360 it just seems like Microsoft is cannibalizing their own income. It's not like Halo will fail or anything if they come out at the same or around the same time, but it's hard to argue that it won't hurt sales at least a bit.
