If we're counting PC then I guess no the 360 doesn't have any exclusive wrpgs but for the vast majority who don't have a gaming PC they do. Mass Effect 1 at the very least. Oblivion was huge for the system in the early days too even though it made its way to ps3 later on when no one cared anymore :P

Sony's suffered quite a bit by not jumping on the wrpg bandwagon like 360 did and like PC always has. I don't really think of Fable as a great wrpg but it sells a lot for Microsoft.

I agree. Guerrilla is rumored to be making an RPG, interested to see how that works out.

I was just going to post that. So ok, what are the Sony UK studios working on? I know Cambridge is doing Killzone Vita and Liverpool just finished WipeOut. Maybe a Media Molecule game? (Remember we had that LBP MMO rumour a week back coming from TechRadar)

Yeah I'm interested in that rumor too but as a wrpg fan I can't say it fills me with a lot of hope. As far as I can tell they don't have much experience with the genre and it makes me think they'll have a FPS or first person action game that just has some RPG elements here and there like most games nowadays.

Then again some of the old wrpg guard like Bioware and Bethesda seem to have forgotten what makes a great wrpg too. So who knows what could happen in this new crazy gaming world.

Agreed. Never seen that before either. Looks way better than the other stuff I've seen from it.
 
It's just a new game with first game-footage, according to the tweat.
I think that means that it's not necesarily nothing we've heard before - just something we haven't seen game-footage from before. :) So it could be the God of War game trailer with ingame footage.

He'd say if it was GoW. He always does when the game is announced before the show if he's been teasing a reveal. We're getting gameplay from GoW: A on the 30th. This has to be something else.
 
If it is GoW I will be pissed. Hoping for Sony Smash, but the way they are teasing the developer makes me think it is a big developer, like the way they teased the developer of The Last of Us.

But now, they're going to announce the developer. In The Last of Us case, no one knew about them until they aired the trailer.
 
It's probably a Fall 2012 exclusive. Sony only has Sly for their exclusive lineup this year.

I don't have a clue at what game or studio they're talking about but I hope it's that rumored horror game for the move!

Somebody tweeted Shuei some time ago and his answer was encouraging!
 
They have to know that if they reveal the developer of Sony All-Stars or GOW:A in their promo everyone will know immediately what game it is... that doesn't necessarily stop people from tuning in, but still, they'd effectively let the surprise out of the bag... maybe it's something else entirely.
