I really want to put in a order for the Hori stick but at the same time in my mind i'm think Mad Catz got something up their sleeve for the 2nd half of the year.

The latest EVO trailer had a teaser for new sticks, presumably as prize sticks. But there HAS to be something for SF's 25th.

A touching picture of MOV comforting Poongko after he lost to Justin in Losers Finals of SFxT. Not the Poongko we're use to seeing. This really gives us a different look at the guy and shows us he must really be pouring everything he's got into it. Heart, soul, and whatever deep shit you can think of.

Really hope he comes back strong after this because guys like him are the ones that I really want to see succeed. Also nice to get a good look at the Total Heads T shirt and see who most of the members are.

Meh, can't see why I should pity him, he made a ton of really stupid decisions and unnecessary risks against J Wong and rightfully got punished hard for it. He's obviously not a fraud and is a good player, but after surprising everyone with his Seth last year it's going to be harder for him to get big results now that people are more familar with his tricks.

He was even more depressed after losing to Justin at the Game Stop nationals. I think he's just one of those guys that plays with a heavy heart which is really respectable if you ask me.

This is the most fraudulent post anyone has posted in any of these fighting game threads in weeks.

You made it seem like all these stipulations were just piled on and piled on and that the agreements weren't made in advance anyhow.

So just to be clear let me break your nonsense down.

True

Compeltely false.

Fanatiq calls out Joker first on Dr. Sub Zero's show here saying he'll body Joker for any amount of 'Canadian Dollars' which will met with US dollars.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3vlmFRh_q4&feature=player_embedded#!

Then Joker responds with a video in which he accepts the challenge saying come to Toryuken May 19th and he'll play for 5000 dollars.
It's known that Joker can't leave the country.

Then Fanatiq responds on the Cross Counter show to both Ray Ray and Joker saying he's a "character loyalist" he's always played MSS or as he retardedly puts it "Magnegro, Beyonso, and Sentijamal" and says "thats my team in Marvel 3", and "I don't counter-pick."

FANATIQ PUBLICLY ACCEPTS BOTH MONEY MATCHES

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aVKRSRWgOw&feature=sh_e_se&list=SL

This shit was already worked out and agreed to. It was always assumed it would be MSS vs MIS. I'm not privy to the specific messages, but it's well known that this is what the agreement was all along.

What happens next is Fanatiq starts hearing about how Ironman might possibly be the real threat on Jokers team and starts jockeying to have the rules changed.

Meanwhile Fanatiq starts talking about stream chats saying he doesn't know if he's gonna be able to make it to Toryuken because he might not be able to come up with enough money.

Then Fanatiq goes on the Dr. Sub Zero show saying that if he's going to be character locked he wants Joker to be character locked to Dr. Doom claiming thats his main team.
This is absolutely untrue.

It becomes absolutely clear that Fanatiq does NOT want to play vs Jokers Ironman and Joker does NOT want to play against Fanatiqs Spencer.

Joker is not trying to character lock Fanatiq and then have the freedom to change characters himself. He wants the MM to go own as it was originally planned. MSS VS MIS

Fanatiq like most bad liars and worse hustlers thinks that if he talks the longest, loudest, and most frequently, that he'll be able to convince people that what he says is true.

It's bullshit and so is your post.

Everything I posted can be found on episode #7 of Dr. Dub Zero Podcast so before you go out and say some stupid shit like that please listen to the podcast. And if you listened to the pod cast and don't see the stuff that I mentioned then please re listen. Don't make me post actual time stamps (yes if need be I will do it).

If my post is wrong it's because Fanatiq gave wrong information.
Your post how ever is all assumptions. I even put that part in bold for you. You can't possibly know what the man is thinking unless you're that man. Whether he (Fanatiq) got spooked by people telling him Joker is legit or because he saw Joker vids on youtube isn't provable. Because only he knows why he is spooked or if he even is. You can't prove that. How are you going to call my post BS when I can prove everything I posted? When you can't prove anything you posted? What's next are you going to cut his head open and show us his brain? I'm just reciting information that I heard from the primary source.

The GameStop SF4 Nationals and Poongko was the reason I even got into fighting games competitively. D:

Poongko is the reason I even tried Seth. He's pretty much my favorite player in the FGC.

He'll still be fine in SF4 until Seth gets nerfed. In SFxT, he isn't going to be as much of a threat long term, the alpha counters and wake up roll really miss with his ability to find lopsided mix up situations. Gamestop seems appropiate as his Ryu back then was flashy but extremely risky and impatient.

Too many people overestimate Seth in AE2012, he has no shortages of bad matchups and Poongko was struggling against a no name Sakura player in the pools. Then Fuudo have consistently done well against Poongko because he knows that Poongko takes loopsided risks and he can win by punishing big. I think Poongko is still good enough to body most players but I wouldn't be surprise to see him crash out early in EVO 2012 if the bracket draw isn't in his favour.

I'm not talking about how he plays or anything like that. I just like seeing someone who puts everything into the game. We know why he's called the machine, because he pours so much time into these games. But this also shows us that he's emotionally invested into these games as well, I like knowing that. Before he steps up to his game in whatever major, you know how much work and effort he's put into it, both mentally and physically. It's a nice change from the usual high level of saltiness other feel when they lose.

Actually it's real, happened in Russia.

Gat Dayum, I thought it was a joke. But if that's really real, I don't think it's cool to use it as a meme when someone gets blown up in a match. Do whatever you guys wants, but I don't think it would be cool though.

Everybody can crash out early in EVO 2012, if there is a strong international showing like SS2012 (and I bet it will be bigger), nobody have a guaranteed top 8 spot. Fuudo, as the EVO champion lost twice to a relatively unknown chinese player.
Top 32 AE at EVO should be incredible.

Because a lot of viewers were curious about the results of KVOxGODS vote beyond the top 4, Frieda just went over the rankings to #30 (he also read numbers, all add those in later).

Oh I agree. Regardless of who you are(and that includes Daigo), if the tournament is too stacked then eventually killers will start running into each other and some of the best players out there will not even make it to top 32 let alone top 8. Honestly the luck of the draw will play a huge factor in this. Nothing against Eita, but I don't think he would have won SS2K12 if you switched him with a number of other players in other pools. It also depends who you run into, and even which top player you run into. He defeated Tokido and Neurosis on his way to top 8, but maybe he would have lost to Dakou or Fuudo if he were in there side.

I still remember sitting around waiting for AE semi's to begin at EVO 2011. The 182 players who made it out of pools(there were 91) were placed into 4 larger pools. They announced which players would be in which pools over the speaker and some pools obviously had more known threats(aka Japanese) than others. I could see the look on some players faces, and they were looking disappointed. While others cheered in happiness, FLOE being the most memorable of them all. He was yelling out loud "YES, YES" and laughing because his pool was light on Japanese. Man I would have loved to have captured that moment on film lol.

I'm in love with Aqua's girl. She's so cool.

"Have you done a standing 69?"
"No. I don't have arm strength"

XD

I love how Stream monsters ask her offensive stuff, she asks Aqua what it means, Aqua says 'I don't know', then she straight up asks the stream monsters and then answers the question.

I don't know if you guys follow my Twitter, but I'm going to be doing a stream tonight, currently planned for 9PM EDT/6PM PDT. This is going to be streaming via my shitty webcam, so don't expect anything amazing. I might mash out some poverty online AE matches afterwards (I suck, not worth watching), but the primary reason for the stream is talking about going to EVO. I was at the point of giving up on going, but every time I try to let it go I can't, so now I'm committing to EVO.

There are also some other topics I want to talk about, some of which will offer a bit of context that will make most things fall together. I've never really done anything public like this before, though this probably won't be what you expect. But yeah, if you want to watch, tune in.

The precursor to the NeoGAF version of the LI Joe Show.

why don't you ask Fishstix to put you on the FGC directory (FGC Pros) so more people can find your stream.

I've never done a (public) stream before, so that's a reason. I also don't plan on streaming with any sort of rate of frequency as I have absolutely nothing in the way of streaming equipment. This is extraordinary circumstances, otherwise I wouldn't be doing it.

I haven't talked about this on GAF at all, so the vast majority of people will not know what I'm referring to.

well, I guess I'm a little intrigued, but i will be missing it because you are planning to do it in the middle of fighting game talk show night.

That's why I picked 9PM, which is about 30 minutes before WakeUp SRK. The only other options are to do it even earlier (which is a bad time for the West Coast) or wait until after Cross Counter Live (which is pretty late and a bad time for the East Coast). I'm actually free today, and if I want to pick a stream time in the evening that's not conflicting with major streams, I'd literally have to wait several days.

It's not like you won't be able to watch afterwards if you want, I'll make sure of that.

blech, my brain! I thought Wakeup srk was earlier. i should've...checked the schedules that you post every week. Ok, I'm in

Justin, Dieminion, Wolfkone and Air are going to Toryuken. Also I think Nerdjosh and Arturo might also go.

Interesting. This will be the first time Justin and Wolfkrone will be in the same tourney since the Final Round blow up. Actually this will be Justins first EVO major since FR
