The performance is still more about the PERFORMANCE and not singing when it comes to her craft. She even admitted on tv she never thought her voice was average/ok and wished she had a voice like Xtina

If having been 13+ years in the game, establishing yourself as Pop Royalty/LivingLegend/Icon/Princess&QueenofPop at the beginning of your career, selling 100+ million records , being the Best Selling Pop Artist of the decade, having 6 #1 albums and having a Grammy, then while on BREAK from music to sign on to a Reality Show only to be paid 15 million dollars and being the highest paid reality show judge on television is a sign of a career ending I think I'd be ok with that

i am, because it happened - i'm not saying all brown fans co-sign the incident (some of my favorite rappers have done some atrocious shit), but when the actual abuse was brought up, it was discredited, rationalized or otherwise pushed aside because stanning was more important than acknowledging some ugly shit.
i found that pretty disgusting, so if that likewise bothers you: good, it should.
